Dr Riedo is THE best infectious disease allopath. Not only is his true expertise omnipresent, he knows that patients need personal warmth, an experience of being fully listened to, and a sense of real connection with providers. His manner is professional while also being genuinely caring, and is much appreciated when your body stops working like it should. He takes all the time I need, and has made a week in hospital and follow up trips to the clinic not as much of an ordeal. Highly recommended!!

Terrible experience of being overbilled, receiving additional charges even though my account was fully paid for and inexperienced handling of billing done by people at the register., makes matters of billing worse. My family was charged over $600 for one vaccine and 10 minutes of consulation charges and seperate charges to just administer the vaccine by a nurse. There was no mention made by the person discussing the bill at the register, that there would a another bill expected in the future, billed to us seperately from the main Evergreen hospital. After being told at the register that the only amount due was $651, I went ahead and paid the full on the same day of service. After a couple of days I receive a text showing that there is an outstanding balance of $ 284 on my kid's account even though I paid in full for my entire family. When I spoke to the billing department I was being informed that the actual amount billed showing due by the parent Evergreen hospital would be another amount of around between $ 1000-$1336, for the 3 members of the family with all the possible discounts that they tried to add to the bill. Had I been told that my family was going to be billed for $ 651 and hidden charges of $ 1338.60 in total for a family of 3 for a single preventive typhoid vaccine, I would have walked off and never taken the vaccine.I am shocked! I am frustrated and was left feeling deceived having received another bill showing outstanding balance. I am never coming back here and would not recommend this place, as it is a total rip off. These charges are not covered by insurrance and receiving an unimaginable high bill is expected here.

I really like the atmosphere of this hospital. The sitting and eating areas were very nice. The entire complex has one of the best signing systems I've ever seen (so you are never lost) and the faculty is wonderful in my experience.

I was very disappointed with my care at EvergreenHealth Infectious Disease and Travel Medicine. During my time serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa I developed an infectious disease in a wound, thought this doctors office would be the perfect place to have it examined. The doctor looked at it, put a Band-Aid on it, gave me a few care instructions and a bill for $3000. I fought with the billing department and submitted numerus requests and was denied every time. No one in the billing office could explain to me the breakdown of the bill, even though I would go line-by-line through the bill asking what each item was. After all, how could an inspection and a Band-Aid cost $3,000?? If they could have explained what each charge was for I would have thought it was reasonable, but it seems like they added a bunch of "unknown" items to my bill just to make more money. The doctor and desk staff seemed nice though. Unfortunately I won't be coming back to this office. I have heard other people say they have had similar issues with this office. My review rating would go up if the office would call and explain my bill to me!
