“If I can give this BECU a 10, I would. I came in 40 minutes before they close on a Saturday. One lady came up and asked me how she can help, then assisted me in signing in the electronic queue. There were several customers ahead in line and I wasn’t sure they will be able to get to me before they close. I was afraid they’d get to me only to tell me to come back another day because they’re closed. Luckily, that wasn’t their policy. The young man who helped me was very pleasant and did not try to sell me any products or discourage me from closing my accounts. He was very professional and explained each step of the process. He didn’t try to rush me even though their office was closed by the time he was helping me. They are in every way the opposite of the Wells Fargo in Totem Lake in their customer service. I will recommend them over WF on any given day.”

The estate plan required FDPOA and other documents to filed to meet the requirement of the estate plan. The process did take some time work through as there were several steps that needed to be completed. “The downtown Kirkland location is by far the best one! Whenever I call, they are quick to transfer me to the right person. They have at least one teller in the front, two experienced loan officers and two more account-related people at their desks. While doing a loan application, Peter (the manager) was very knowledgeable and honest. If he is out, there is another loan officer, Melissa, who is always willing to help and answer all questions. Overall, we felt like we were in good hands.”

I recommend them to my clients that I set up, review, and train one-on-one in QuickBooks and Quicken in Kirkland and the Eastside and frequently stop for a free car wash at the 76 across the street. Why? Because unlike US Bank, they allow free downloads into both of those software packages. And their statements are easy to read.”
