5 stars! This daycare isn't just a place to drop off your little one, it's a second home filled with love, learning, and joy. Where do I even begin?We were nervous first-time parents new to town and they welcomed us with open arms, explained everything clearly, and made us feel like our daughter was joining a family.The teachers are incredible. They're not just caregivers, they're nurturers, educators, and friends. They shower each child with attention, take the time to understand their individual needs, and make them feel seen and valued. I trust them completely with my daughter's well-being, and that's saying something!My daughter comes home every day with stories about new friends, exciting activities, and a smile that lights up the room. It's amazing to see her confidence and happiness blossom.The heart of it all? Ms. Abby, the director. She's a nurturing leader who radiates warmth and care, both for the children and her staff. Her passion for early childhood development is contagious, and it shows in every aspect of the daycare.If you're looking for a daycare that's more than just a place to park your kids, this is it. It's a true gem.

Hello,I've been apart of the kindercare family for over 12 years. I absolutely love kindercare !! That being said I've experienced south kindercare (which we loved from their care to their staff was phenomenal). Normandy Park - also great staff. Auburn kindercare which was also great. They have such a great curriculum. Which played such a huge role in me returning my children to Kindercare's. However, I must express my disappointment. We have been attending just over a month and between billing and a few other mishaps I must say my experiences have changed. I want to start with the biggest issue I've had (BILLING) , and I don't like putting my business out in public but I feel this needs to be recognized- I get help with childcare , and I have my portion in which I gladly pay because as of now holding a job with one income is hard enough. Most places bill monthly and drop one bill - this location has dropped 3 bills on me insisting I pay more than what I'm required to pay -and then it reflects negatively on my children in what they are getting in their programs. I am very frustrated with this because people get help for many reasons and to allow it to project in the classes singling children out is so horrible (and reflects negatively on the staff and how they lack the children's well-being -mentally). No other kindercare has done this in the past and now I'm starting to feel insecure about the staff chosen at this location and how they address their billing. I have never felt discriminated due to my billing assistance until now. Since when is registration billed separately and it's required to be paid separately from my assistance? And since when is the summer program an additional $80 / kid ? And again not dropped with the main bill ?? I have 2 children in daycare - being on assistance $120 + $160 additional fees on top of my regular copay on a single income is extremely hard. This has truly stressed me out and I have to say I feel since I've started we have been targeted. Not to mention the forms that I was harassed to get my doctors to fill out when it say's recommended not required by doctor and I was told "this is not correct" because the way it was dispensed is different from the way it's dispensed for another child. It's very frustrating that this is happened and now I'm just incredibly uncomfortable at this location. Other than that everything is great. My kids are enjoying it as usual. But I myself am just disappointed.

We had a fantastic experience at East Hill Kindercare, led by the amazing director Abby Ajaero.At Kindercare, the teachers were friendly, caring, and supportive. They created an environment where my children thrived, helping them break out of their shells and grow into confident individuals. The genuine love and attention they received from the teachers made all the difference.Under Abby's leadership, Kindercare was a place of joy and learning. Her dedication to creating a warm, nurturing atmosphere was evident, and I even relied on her parenting advice. For example, my son is fully potty-trained because Abby advised us through it.During our time at East Hill Kindercare, my kids blossomed and developed a love for learning. The engaging activities and well-designed curriculum sparked their curiosity and fueled their desire to explore and discover new things.Though we had to say goodbye to Kindercare once we moved out of state last month, its impact on our family remains cherished. We will always be grateful to Abby Ajaero and the entire Kindercare team for their dedication and care.If you're looking for a daycare that feels like a second home for your children, where they can receive genuine care and create lasting memories, I wholeheartedly recommend East Hill Kindercare.

Really unsatisfied with the current director. We had our toddler enrolled for some time and were due to have our second child so arranged for our toddler to visit his grandma while we got our newborn settled in. We made it very clear to the director our intentions to return him to their care upon him returning from Gma’s. To our surprise Abby went ahead and unenrolled our toddler creating even more stress and headache during this already hectic times. Other staff was kind and caring.

My children have been attending the East Hill KinderCare in Kent,WA for six months and so far our experience has been WONDERFUL! Right off the bat during my tour of the center with the Director, Ms. Nan, she came off as someone who was caring and passionate about working with children and keeping her staff happy, as well as the parents. Nan really keeps this center going and the entire staff is so caring. She always makes sure to keep parents informed through emails of any changes, updates, or reminders. Nan is also ALWAYS available to answer calls and address any concerns we may have. Ms. Nan and Ms. Sabrina (assistant to Nan) are open and warm and are the sweetest ladies. One thing that stood out about this center is the staff is diverse and during our tour Ms. Nan mentioned how she felt it was important to have staff that look like the children attending. That stuck with me and I love that about this location. They have a good mix of teachers from Filipino, Black, Japanese, Korean, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, and White. When my kids first attended it was a challenging transition for them but Nan and her staff were patient and compassionate. They made sure to find ways to comfort my kids and keep them safe as they processed the change. Eventually my children got used to the school and they always have stories to share about their day and what they learned. I love the KinderCare app they use to provide parents with daily report helpful. The reports provide information on what my kids are doing, what they ate, how long they slept, and how many times they used the potty. It also gives me piece of mind my kids are entertained, fed, and well cared for. We are truly grateful for the loving care from our East Hill KinderCare family!

My time here at this Kindercare has been nothing short of amazing. I have 2 children that currently go here and I have been beyond amazed with the communication and care that goes into my kids. As any parent knows, finding a daycare provider is all about finding that right fit. Your daycare provider is basically your child's parent away from home. The entire staff is all about making sure your children are happy, always smiling, educated and well taken care of. Nan Tate is the director of the daycare and is so amazing at making sure this location runs smoothly and making sure her staff treats these kids with the upmost care and gives them the education that they need. Sabrina also works right next to Nan and Sabrina has the most kind and caring heart I have ever seen in a person. There is not a day that goes by without her making sure to put a smile on everyone's face, she even goes out of her way to find out more about how the parents are doing and what she can do to make life easier on the parents. My 3 year old has been diagnosed with autism and is everything short from being an easy child to deal with. They have gone out of their way to help problem solve and find the absolute best solutions for him. My sons teacher her name is Jayden. She is in the toddler room. She is fully aware of the challenges that my son faces on a day to day basis. two days ago she went out of her way to have a personalized conversation with me to see what kind of techniques work for me and dealing with my son at home, asked me how she could be a better help to his education and care, she also communicated to me with things that she is doing with my son that are helping him to succeed day to day under her care. When I left there after my conversation with Jayden-the toddler teacher, I started crying. Crying with tears of joy that my children are being treated with nothing but love and care. As we all know, it take a VILLAGE to raise a child. Well this kindercare is MY village. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone and everyone because the staff here are nothing but amazing and have became basically my childrens second family. Thank you East Hill Kindercare !!

My son has attended East Hill KinderCare for the last 8 months since we moved to Kent and I cannot say enough positive things about our experience here. As a pediatrician, I completely trust East Hill KinderCare with the care of my child and would not bring my infant to any other center if I could do it all over again! When I was looking around for daycares, I had a phone conversation with Ms. Sabrina who was so warm and informative without being pushy- I knew instantly that this would be a place with people I could get along with. Ever since we started, I have found everyone who works here to be so laid back, understanding, and communicative. Every pick up and drop off is so seamless and even on a few occasions when I have been late Ms. Nan, the center director, has been so accommodating and never made me feel stressed or like I need to rush to get there. The center is well kempt and looks nice- plus they take COVID precautions very seriously here and I know my child is safe. Of course I would be remiss without talking about the true gem of this daycare- the infant class teacher Ms. Jody- who has been a true godsend for us this past year. Ms. Jody is beyond amazing and I am SO SAD we have to leave her class now that my son is over a year old. Every day when my son was at daycare, I looked forward to her adorable pictures and captions of what he and his friends were doing in class. She truly cares about each and every one of the babies in her class and is so diligent about making sure they are developing different sensory, motor, and language skills. She even worked with my son on paced bottle feeds and avoided wasting my precious breast milk when he was going through a bottle refusal stage, which was such a tremendous help for me. When we graduated the infant class, I received a portfolio of all my son's photos, artwork, and different milestone report cards made by Ms. Jody and I was so touched at the amount of care and attention that went into curating all of this that I literally cried! My husband and I work a ton and I have not had time to make a lot of keepsakes for my son's first year of life so receiving this portfolio and all of the other activity keepsakes for holidays and special occasions has really helped keep my mama heart afloat this past year. Toward the end of our time in the infant classroom, they got a new teacher, Ms. Kaitlyn, who seemed like a great addition to the classroom. She is fluent in ASL and does amazing artwork! She made some fun videos for us and I could tell that she loved her job and made a great team with Ms. Jody. Unfortunately due to our work schedules, we have had to transfer to a different daycare center closer to where we live with extended hours and didn't get to spend much time in the toddler class here but we have had no issues with the transition. We will miss East Hill KinderCare so much and can't rule out coming back in the future if our work schedules permit! We would definitely not hesitate to recommend this center to anyone who is looking for a good daycare with good people who truly care about your child. BIG THANK YOU to everyone at this facility for making our first daycare experience so wonderful!!

Since day one director Courtney and her team of teachers have been amazing! The place is clean and they communicate effectively with the parents. My kid loves his friends and teachers here. Payments are easily seen online and made. Overall happy. :)

I initially really enjoyed my son being enrolled in this center but due to way too high turnover rate of teachers and a center director who claims to care but really just is super dismissive and almost defensive when it comes to addressing concerns that quickly changed. Especially when it comes to kids who are having issues. I absolutely loved his teachers and so did my son. He grew to love them deeply. But in the end he was disenrolled because she (CD) didn’t know what to do to help him (her words. Not mine) she set us up to have him evaluated, and when we met with a behavior therapist as well as the school board, they saw no abnormal issues, only a typical 3 year old who has been thru a lot of change and needed more structure/challenge. A lot of which I think had to do with their high turnover rate as well as their inconsistency and lack of communication between the teachers. His new daycare has managed to do for him in 1 week what KinderCare couldn’t do in 9 months. Also, I work with a girl who just quit the Panther Lake location and she says that everyone pretty much doesn’t know what they are doing anyway and the teachers don’t really pay attention to the kids, which I already kinda figured by what went on. There are so many other daycares that will genuinely and honestly care for your child. And they cost less. Just saying

Beyond amazing. I cannot even begin to express the love and gratitude I have for every single teacher here at this daycare and the love I have for the director Sabrina. From the very beginning she listened to my concerns and my struggles and constantly finds ways to help me out. I’m a single mom but don’t qualify for state help. And this year has been tough for me being in and out of the hospital. Every time I had a hard time paying she’s always there to listen and find a way to help me out. She’s never let me down. The teachers have always showed nothing but affection for my daughter and every day my daughter comes home excited to tell me about her day and all the things she learned. I’m so glad I chose this facility!

Love this center! My child is well cared for and they go the extra mile to engage their families. The staff is always friendly and seem to truly enjoy their jobs. I can highly recommend after using many other daycares in the East Kent Hill area.
