I have frequented JoAnns for years and this new location has so much to offer from its super friendly staff to the wide selection of fabric, yarn, and tons of other crafting supplies! You could look at stuff in there for hours! My friends and I went recently and we were helped by Scott at the cutting counter who was super friendly, helpful, and kind! Made our trip great! We were then helped out when checking out by Mindi who honestly made our day! She was so kind and offered a kind smile and helped me when dealing with issues pulling up my coupon. Employees make the experience and these two employees I knew just had to be recognized for their kindness and helfulness on my recent trip. Visit this JoAnns you won't be dissapointed! :)

Wish I had read other people's reviews before placing an online order!!!! I place an online order because I did not want to walk through the store and pick up the item. it was for some thread. I placed the order at 7 AM. It took to 1 o'clock before it was ready for pickup. There was nobody at the pickup cashier register, so I had to stand in line anyway and wait. The whole reason I placed online is I was in a hurry. I ended up calling the store at 1230 asking if my order was ready (I never got the email I was promised when it was ready). So went in to get it. Of course, I got the explanation of how busy they have been, but unfortunately as a customer that is not my problem. So much for a fast online order and pickup period definitely plan on it. Taking 4 to 6 hours to pick up any order you place online. Probably faster to go in and pick it up yourself than it is to place the order online and go go and get it. I don't want to be promised. Pick up within an hour if it's gonna take them 4 to 6 hours to get the order ready. At least with that honesty I can plan my day. I understand that nobody wants to work a job and anymore. But again, as a customer, that is not my problem. Don't promise me in order ready for pick up in an hour if it won't be.

Very little help for such a large store. Lot of craft items but for those who want to sew clothing maybe not the best choice.

Decent variety and the coupons really help make things more affordable.

Do not use their pick up service unless you order 5 hours in advance because your order will absolutely not be ready. Skip over Joann’s in general you won’t even find anything yourself since everything is still boxed up, and the employees suck (at least the older ones all come with an attitude). I wish I would’ve gotten her name but some old lady at the register was just unnecessarily rude when I went to pick up an order that you think they could’ve had ready in an hour and half.

My little boy and I stopped by on Sunday to pick up our order. It was unclear if we need to join the main line or if we should just walk up the "Pick Up order" register. I decide to ask a nearby employee who was restocking shelves. She replied with a scoff, "Well, it's up to all of them!" She gestured to all the shoppers in the main line. But then she changed her answer and said we could just go to the pick-up register and that she'd "take us there." We follow her over, but she just walks away, leaving us there. So, my son and I just stand in line behind the couple at the register. It was very awkward, and I was preparing myself for people to just start yelling at us.
Then it was our turn. I let the cashier know that "we were picking up an online order and were instructed to walk up to this register, was this, okay?" She just looks at me and scoffs. "Well, you're here now," she says, and looking terribly annoyed at my son and I.
I know the service was not so great at the last store, but it is worse now. My little boy and I were just out to pick up an online order. I broke my rule of going out Black Friday Weekend because this is how I knew I get could treated. And I wasn't even a jerk.
For many years I worked retail, and I was treated terribly by my customers. I always said to myself that I would never be that person to others, and that I would just avoid shopping during this time. Now, I work as a scientist and prefer online shopping because I am scarred by these experiences. Sunday's experience reminds me of why. Thanks JoAnn Fabrics for reminding me why I don't like the Holidays. Oh, and for making my little boy not want to shop at your store for crafts, either. Be rude to me, but don't ever be rude to my son.

Rude upset employees. Greeted the girl from the start politely and no response back. So I asked for 2 yards. Then told her thank you and have a great day. No response back. Never experienced that customer service before. Then when checking out the cashier looked over to the line while helping me out and I caught her rolling her eyes. I look over to the line and saw who she was rolling her eyes at. Seemed like a discrimination act. Also said thank you to her and no response. Not sure why they are so bitter working at this location or company. Very bad vibes and bitterness towards certain individuals fo no reason.

Everyone that works at this location is soooo rude. So much so that I won’t shop here unless Michaels doesn’t have what I need, and then… I’ll do a pickup order and there are always 3-4 employees standing around doing nothing that act like they’ve been terribly inconvenienced to have to retrieve my order. I’d hoped moving the location would make this a better store. It did not.

An older white lady was my cashier the other day and she accused my of “having a false $100 bill” and according to her it was “missing information.” Literally have never had that happen to me and the bank even said it was real.

This is a store for the crafter not the seamstress. And as far as customer service, they could use some improvement. Lots of fleece, flannel, fat quarters, and upholstery fabric. I saw a sliver of a section with some possibilities for a dress, but I do not recall seeing any silk, silk blends, crepe, faille, wool or wool blends. As far as the customer service, another customer in the store was more informative and helpful than any of the staff. When asked if they offered sewing classes, the salesperson/cashier abruptly said, " We've never had classes". No suggestions offered. Really?? I have frequented a lot of Joanne's and this is the first one to date that does not offer some type of craft or sewing class. I was just visiting in the area, but you can be sure this particular store will not be on my return visit. And as far as friendliness, the salesperson/cashier never even said hello. Earlier, when another sales person was asked if they had any corduroy, though polite, I don't know if she knew to what I was referring to. I do thank the helpful and friendly lady customer who sat with me and my nephew at the pattern book table for her information and assistance. She seemed to know more about what was in the store than the employees. I hope she applies for a job there. SHE would be a much needed asset.

My friend and I needed cotton thread for a project. We asked the employees if a section was 100% cotton thread and they said it all was. Low and behold when we got home and happened to check again before we started our project, it was 60% polyester and only 40% cotton! ?
