I’ve been here a few times over the years, I love this little shop. It’s thoughtfully curated. The owner is inviting and kind! I always leave Friday harbor with something from this shop. Sometimes is this only place I end up buying stuff from! Recommend always!

I think this store is really cute and the customer service was great. I bought some jewelry a really nice journal and a poster.However, the two pieces of jewelry I bought both turned my skin green within a few minutes:/ one was a gold ring that was adjustable with wording on it and then I paid $36 for these amethyst earrings with gold earring backings/hoops. I felt that the price for these items they shouldn’t be turning your skin green within minutes. I can’t return them since I’m out of state but wanted to let them know about these quality issues. I have a nickel allergy so I can only assume these pieces of jewelry are not nickel free. I feel for the price being charged they should be better quality.

Deer Hazel has a unique selection of clothing and perfumes that I like. The woman who ran the shop had the ability to tune in with what I was looking for. I especially like their perfume selection, which I have seen nowhere else. Thanks again for your creative curating of your shop contents. Super cute shop with tons of options! Their jewelry is handmade in the shop & really something special. Be sure to put this shop on your 'must visit' list when you are visiting San Juan Island!

Honestly my favorite store in Friday Harbor but also in general and I stop by every time I'm in town and have money to spend because trying to leave without your new favorite piece (whether it's clothes or jewelry) is impossible. Speaking of jewelry, all the handmade pieces by both Jeanne and Kerry as well as all the local businesses that are supported makes some proud to shop local. Quality is fantastic, prices are competitive, and the vibes are free and positively worth the stop. Deer Hazel fan for sure over here.

A bit pricey for me on clothing, but beautiful things. Bought candles I have never seen before, but oh so nice. Employee was so sweet. Check the place out, I'm sure you'll find something to thrill you.
