Horrible management. Being their facility service representative, I got to know alot about the production manager and their operations. Constant issues, all of which did not get communicated to me by their production manager. I had complete control over the majority of the account, yet the production manager treated me like I was incompetent. Any issue was within my authority to fix, but the production manager would not communicate any of them to me. Instead he would call my manager and get even more upset when the tasks got delegated to me. I do not know what his problem was other than hating me and unwilling to give me chance to address the issues. Business relationships should be built on mutual respect and understanding, but the manger seemed to belittle and undermine my ability to get adequately address their needs.In addition, the production manager was very disconnected from his employees and this created more challenges. He would order the wrong sizes for his employees, ask why there are shortages despite the increased inventory, make accusations towards me, and get angry at me for the mistakes he made prior. He was a horrible manager, and this was evident in his employees. The production managers incompetence and need to show his power made this a toxic client and workplace for his employees.Even though this was years ago, I still avoid purchasing any Hempler's products. The abuse and tantrums i had to deal with from their production manager has left a poor taste in my mouth whenever I try to consume their products.A company is only as good as the sum of their business relationships, employee relations, and products. And they only have one of these going for them. Facility services (UniFirst, Aramark, Cintas beware of the issues and adjust pricing accordingly as this will be a problematic client.)

I’ve never purchased this brand of bacon and today I did, my biggest regret. Never in my life have I experienced this smell the bacon was giving off while cooking, it smelt like acetone or an alcohol of some sort. I literally was outside half the time the bacon was cooking, it triggered my headache as well. DISGUSTED ! I threw it away but it was the center cut bacon

Disappointed with the “European bacon” . The flavor was neither ham nor bacon. Just Heavy Smoke . I was excited to try it, but came away Totally disappointed. Returning it to Safeway in Bonney Lake, get my $10 back. The smoke was entirely overwhelming.

We've purchased Hempler's maple sausage links a few times and I cannot for the life of me understand how they arrived at this recipe. It doesn't smell like sausage, it doesn't taste like sausage, and maple isn't even mentioned in the ingredients. It is extremely bland. I know many of Hempler's products are well thought of, but this one just doesn't measure up, in my opinion. Hempler would do well to sample Hill's and Johnsonville's maple sausage products and consider reformulating their recipe.

Terrible Packaging Uncured LandJaeger Sticks! The photo shows two meat sticks that are not properly sealed and one (on the bottom) that is. All but two sticks in two containers were not properly vacuum sealed. This is very troubling since these contain no preservatives and it states on the package to consume within 3 days after opening. Being that the container held 16 sticks each and in one 14 sticks were not properly sealed when on the store shelf I find this condition to be very problematic if not unhealthy.I purchased these from Costco. Be warned and check your container before consuming these sticks!
