Just completed my dive certification here! It was SUCH an amazing experience, and all the instructors were so kind and helpful, I won't recommend anywhere else to my friends and family! Everyone is very knowledgeable in their field, and makes the entire process seamless.

I just wrapped up my Open Water course w/ Underwater Sports in Federal Way. Everyone who worked there (Carlos, Seth, and Aaron) were so helpful leading up to the course.
The class itself was super comprehensive and thorough. I felt very confident with setting up by BCD and reacting to an underwater emergency. Carlos was an awesome instructor who has a lot of patience and care for his students.
Furthermore, Carlos ensures that he gives you the best experience in class and sets you up for success after. You will 100% get the best experience at this place! Highly recommend getting scuba certified here.

Super kind stuff guy, beautiful interior.But they need to look forward for more diving instructors, because I needed to wait for months before my diving practice starts.

I have an Atomic Subframe mask that I purchased a few years ago with prescription lenses. I no longer wear glasses, so the mask, as it is, was unusable. I made a few calls and emails to the manufacturer about whether or not I could get non prescription lenses for the mask, as the original seller did not include the clear lenses the mask came with. Unfortunately, all attempts to contact the manufacturer were completely ignored.I learned that underwater Sports was an Atomic distributor, so I called them. They were extremely helpful. I was told to bring the mask to their store and they would replace the lenses for me at a very reasonable price.I was greeted by Carlos when I arrived, and he dropped everything to replace my lenses while I waited.I walked out with new lenses and a mask I can now use in a shorty period of time.I was very pleased with the friendly, excellent customer service from the Underwater Sports Team!

Fantastic crew that works here. Did the open water certification for both me and my 16 year old son and have nothing but good things to say. The course was fun but also very focused on critical skills needed for being a certified diver. I came away from the 2 weekends worth of instruction, feeling very confident that should any issue arise while at depth, I can handle those circumstances.Aside from the certification classes, I've dealt with Carlos and Aaron, and both are incredibly knowledgeable about all of the diving equipment. They are a great resource and can get you fitted for just about anything you need.The Puget Sound is incredibly rich with biodiversity and diving gets you right in the middle of it all. Highly recommended for anyone interested in seeing the ocean life up front and personal.
