Maria was very very nice and helpful to me and my fiancé when I was picking out my jewelry (necklace and earrings), she even showed us a beautiful bracelet that matched them perfectly. Her and her manager were both very wonderful to work with. <3

Went into this location tonight with my love to look at rings, and Sapphy was very warm and helpful, immediately catching onto the more unconventional aesthetics we were looking for and pointing out options we may not have noticed. Thank you so much Sapphy!

They weren't pushy about me buying a ring, she walked me through everything possible, and answered all of my questions. She helped me make the perfect decision on my purchase. The staff here were very rude. My wife and I waited in the store and were ignored the whole time. After 40 minutes we just left and decided to let our jewelry gem warranty expire. I don't think we'll go back to Kay's.

I visited the Lynwood location on Monday, 8/28/2023 and I had the worst experience! I stayed there for more than two hours without purchasing what I was looking for. The associate had no idea on how to navigate the website for my purchase. She was using a very old tablet and the keys were not working. She kept saying it was taking a longer time because of the glitches. Which I understood. Mary was very rude in her communication with me. At that point, I requested the manager to come hoping that she could help out. To my surprise, the manager was extremely rude. She did not help at all, did not apologize on behalf of the associate. She did not even greet me with a smile or listen to my concern. I had noticed the manager was nice with all the customers she had helped during the two hours I was waiting to be helped. The manager and the store associate racially profiled me and treated me in this manner because of their racist beliefs. Both the manager and store associates need to learn that all customers need to be treated the same, even if they look different. Kay Jewelers needs to train their employees to provide exceptional customer service.

Upon trying to purchase a piece of jewelry their system “apparently “ wasn’t working properly after repeated attempts with no luck I decided to just purchase the item with cash upon arriving at my bank I discovered that in fact charges did go through…TWICE!! They are pending which basically means that the combined amount is no longer available for me to use at this time!! Make a long story short, I did not receive the merchandise I was charged twice for and I am out over $700 that I cannot utilize for my needs! Upon returning to the store I was told that no receipt was generated therefore no charges were made… my bank says differently! Still no merchandise changes hands…the next day charges still pending, called store they said no history of this purchase is in the system …I mean WOW! My bank says still pending …I feel scammed from an ALDERWOOD MALL Vendor…My Advice is DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! Granted I shoulda looked at the reviews and the ratings….a 2.5 is WAY too generous this headache of a situation could’ve been avoided if I’d a known! Btw found the EXACT same link with a higher karat, higher quality(not with broken links the item was broken), and a better coverage care plan for longer and cheaper elsewhere! Don’t Trust these people with your time or $$ ! It’s not worth it!

Google maps kept putting me in a different location around the outside of the mall so when I tried to call the store to get better directions no one answered. I called several times and nothing.When I finally got in the store it took awhile for anyone to help me. Finally I was able to pick up my earrings and leave. After wearing the earrings I paid a lot of money for I got an allergic reaction to the backings of the earrings. They advertise the earrings as sterling silver but the backings must be nickel. I contacted Kay customer service and they said I need to go back to the store to get an “assessment” before they will do anything. Their company knows the backings are nickel as they bought it so i’m not sure what needs to be assessed. It’s so disappointing a company like this is cheaping out on something like backings to earrings. I will definitely be buying my jewelry else where from now on.

Marie was great. She cleaned my ring and let me know ow there was a great sale going on until Saturday and rings I bought over 10 years ago were worth a lot for trade in on new purchases of like items. She was very thorough and even helped me with possible future purchases. Nice that they have such good customer service and every price range.
