The prices in there are laughable. Seriously, one of the worst I've seen for astronomically overpriced used stuff (they get for free.) Not really a charitable organization.

I am a thrift store junkie and visit a thrift shop about twice a week. I love my regular haunts but looking for new pastures, I travelled a bit to reach this one but I'm going to make the journey again soon. This is why: The moment I walked into the store, I was greeted by Holly. You know those robotic welcomes that you often get when walking into any retail store from Walmart to Macy's? This wasn't like that - she made eye contact and gave me as sincere a welcome as I've ever gotten in any store. The store was clean and well organized particularly for a downtown location. Being from out of town and unfamiliar with Everett, I asked for directions from Brit before I left and she put more effort into making sure I would go the right way and not get lost than I remember getting from anyone else ever. I had small encounters with two other employees and they were just as pleasant. Yes, I found a clothing treasure but it wasn't so amazing that I'll travel an hour and forty-five minutes to go back.
I'll be going back because of the employees. Really, really well done.

Clean, well organized store with variety. Prices could be a little lower seeing that the merchandise is second-hand.

They remodel the place and looks real nice and organized in every aisles . The workers are very helpful and friendly. I like it here. I don't feel awkward coming here.

I love how they say non-profit organization when they get everything for free and then Mark up everything to store retail prices! Then when you go to check out they have the nerve to ask you to donate more money for employees training! ? I absolutely refuse to give these companies money anymore.
Make sure that when you purchase something it is something that you really want and that it works, or fits because you're not getting your money back. They give you two (2) options and that's exchange it or get a gift card for in-store purchase only within 7 Days of purchase??

They have nice items but it is not worth buying! The pricing is obscenely disgusting. They get everything for free and nothing is even affordable.

Their parking lot leaves much to be desired, and some of their prices are ridiculous; however, this store has THE BEST selection of plus sized shirts I have EVER seen at a thrift store. They also tell you what color tag is on sale that day, unlike Value Village. Their employees are all very friendly and interact with you like you're a real person. I will definitely be dropping by here the next time I'm in downtown Everett. Edit: I saw a review saying they don't have books, which isn't true. They have a few bookshelves next to their fitting rooms that have books, CDs, DVDs and even VHS tapes.

Edit, January 2024: THANK YOU for bringing back the books, media, and furniture! I was able to find some gifts, and myself a desk I desperately needed!Just a few things more: A coat hook for the bathrooms (had to fold my coat on my purse so it wouldn't touch the floor), maybe bigger toilet seat sheets (no rush), and declogging of the bathroom fan (full of thick dust, getting noisy). And A/C for summertime if you haven't already. I love the place now! And it looks like there are more customers, too, which saves our favorite downtown Goodwill. Thank you!Previous 1 star rating, no longer current: The remodel is a disaster. So much empty floor room around high-end clothing that barely gets any attention. Even before the remodel, I rarely ever saw anyone looking at the black tags. What are you doing, turning it into a boutique? Take it to Colby Ave along with all the other high-end clothing stores (as if downtown Everett doesn't have enough). Goodwill is supposed to be a thrift store with variety. Bad move taking away the furniture, random large items, and the books and movies. You should have chosen to install air conditioning and redo the flooring instead. So many of your longtime, loyal customers that keep you in business were really excited and anticipated to see new flooring and an HVAC system that filters out dust and keeps the place from becoming too sweltering of an environment for customers and workers in the summer. It was the talk of the town, only to have those dreams shattered. Not good for business. It's almost as though totally different owners stepped in, then spent too much money having fun without consideration of what most customers really needed.

*The money you spend @ Goodwills genuinely goes to the people they promise to help!* This Goodwill has the best shoe offerings of the Everett locations in my opinion - but it's the people at this Goodwill that make it my favorite location. The majority of them are always so kind and accommodating. And this location has gotten a little makeover as well! Not as large as the Everett Mall Way location but great people and still really good selections.*: Goodwill's job training services are genuinely helpful to the people that use them so if you're going thrifting, do it for a good cause!

I think it's an interesting store. You can find a lot of cool home and decor items.

Tried to donate 5 bags of clothing and when I got there the door was open and the sign was up so I began to unload my trunk. Got 2 bags out and put them by the door and then started getting the last 3 bags from the back seat and a lady came out and told me they cant except any more donations because they dont have the room. It was still 3 hours before they stop taking donations and she wouldnt even take the last 3 bags I had to donate. I also called before I left to go there and was told they were still open and taking donations today. Seriously you dont have room for 3 bags of clothes? Why not take the sign down and close the door and leave a sign up saying you cant except anymore today?

update: It’s so sad. Things just sit and sit! There’s no nuance - despite holes, pilling, stains, and outdated styles they will price things through the roof just for the brand. I don’t mind repairing things and do so frequently but the prices here reflect the price of the item after the work is done. Even with 70% off on Mondays some of the prices were crazy. I still love Goodwills mission and hope this one can read some feedback and improve!
There’s some gems here and it’s very clean! But it’s not a regular goodwill, the majority of items are overpriced for the amount of wear compared to the original retail price. Every time I come here I see something with a shocking price. Also, there is no furniture or books. I think Goodwill has more of a responsibility to price items in a way that will ensure they are able be used, since people are donating. I go here a lot because it’s the closest store to my house but it seems like so much inventory just sits.

Older lady working was horribly rude to me today and wasn’t going to give me a tax slip for my donation. The prices here are like 2-3x higher than everywhere else. Take the extra 5 minute drive and go to value village instead.

65 bucks for a coat. A used coat at good will. They confused as hell thinking they're a designer boutique cause they rearranged the shelves. You cater to a lower income population and you're pricing us out of warm clothes for winter? Shame. Boo.
