I would avoid these guys for all of the same reasons you see in the other reviews for this company. After almost 10 years of minimally acceptable service, they installed a tank with a faulty regulator and I lost a full tank of gas due to leakage over the winter, when the home is not in use. In the spring I called to inform them of this leak and they just came out without permission and replaced all of the gas and charged me to replace the regulator. When I inquired, very politely, about how they might handle a situation like this, one of the owners abruptly responded by saying that they would recommend terminating their service. I happily obliged after paying them for the tank of gas. Save yourself the trouble of dealing with some very unfriendly folk and find a better provider.

RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! After 8 years of living in our house, we were just informed we are supposed to have our tank filled 3 times a year. Not once have they contacted us regarding this past years. We informed them to remove the tank but they need to SCHEDULE time for us, so we can move our travel trailer. Well today they showed up and removed the tank by lifting it over our trailer. The lady in the office also informed us they are charging us 100.00 since they had to remove it.

Customer service was very rude. I was in rehab, for broken back and leg. Notice on my nest house was cold. Week before Christmas. Was told no propane two to three weeks. And to go get electric heaters. 22years with them sad.

Extremely rude and very unhelpful. We’ve been on auto fill for a year now and we started to get low. I called in as we were at 20% and they told us they TOOK US OFF AUTOFILL without notifying us and told us they couldn’t get us a fill for another week. We are now down to 10% and at risk for running out during the holidays. Zero help, and absolutely no effort was made to correct the problem. Will be switching companies ASAP.

The worst propane service around. Always weeks late when coming to fill propane after requesting for a propane fill, extremely rude customer service, owner and employees are very nonchalant and careless about your urgency for propane. I absolutely hate this particular A-1 Propane office and the way they treat their customers.

I am not normally one to complain but man I am annoyed. Over the summer we called our propane company (A1 ) to fill our tank and ask them to service it because we thought there was a slow leak. ( we smelled propane from time to time and was getting more frequent) The lady on the phone was telling me when the tank gets low you will smell it more. I said I'm well aware but it was happening before too. So she said she would put an order in for a tech to call and schedule to come out. Meanwhile she sent someone to fill our tank. Over the next Month or so I called numerous times to inform them the tech had still not called or come. In the summer we do not use our propane and it was depleting more and more so yes I know there was a leak. Still no tech so one day while I was ellensburg I stopped in and talked with the front desk explaining my frustration that I had already lost over 25-30% of my propane that they filled before fixing the tank! The next day a tech came out and yes something needed fixing. I wrote a letter with my payment asking for the equivalent amount of propane lost off my next fill... well just had my tank fill yesterday and nope no discount in fact because of propane prices it's about 200 over what it normally is.. so my question is am I over reacting or am I in the right at asking for reimbursement? I should add our tank is rented so it is on them for it to be working properly.

Owners wife is beyond rude!!! Could not call driver to see if he would be here after not showing the day before as he will not answer his phone!! ( Her words ) was able to call him to cancel our ticket though!!! Went to AmeriGas and got awesome service! Their loss 250 and 100 gallon propane tanks!

Above and beyond for the customer. I returned from working outta town for two weeks straight didnt realize our tank was small and about empty...and right before Christmas Eve. Ross came out and filled the tank to make sure our home stayed warm and I could cook my families favorites. Thank you so very much.

Quick in and out. Dont usually have to wait. Would go to second location on university if I was in a big rig though. Tough traffic sometimes.

A1 simply cannot figure out how to handle their billing. 18 months after selling my home where I used them as my propane provider, I am still getting billed and they cannot figure out why. I have called and discussed this with them at least 10 times and asked them to remove the tank since they couldn't figure out how to fix the problem, and even though they said they would, they never did. They then put a lock on the tank so it could never be refilled until the new owner of the property called and set up their own account, yet I just got another bill in the mail saying my credit card was automatically charged for a tank refill. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to cut ties with this company and get them to charge the appropriate people. Stay away from them... there are plenty of other providers that service the Ellensburg/Cle Elum area.
