I just had a very patronizing experience in this store. Was told I had the incorrect kind of label, and instead of telling me why or directing me otherwise, the young guy spoke to me like I was an idiot. If you don’t want to feel patronized today, I would avoid this store.

This is our go to UPS store, he one on 100th next to subway and down from Bartells. It's the closest to where we live. The employee'sare very helpful. The mail gets picked up earlier between 12:30pm and 2pm. If packages are brought in after that time they are picked up then I believe the package goes out the next day same time between. I asked that question because I wanted to make sure my items got sent out the same day. This UPS is closed on Sundays. I called the one up by target and Safeway but they said the packages don't go out until the next day at 5pm. So im thinking why take my packages there if the UPS sends them monday-saturday at 5pm daily? Its most beneficial If I wait until monday at least then the packages will be sent out between 12:30pm and 2pm.sooner at the UPS ON 100TH AVE Edmonds bowl location. The biggest issue for me is getting the package/s sent out as early as possible. Even if 5 UPS stores are open on Sunday's their mail carrier comes the earliest around here at 5pm the next day Monday. Nothing g gets sent out on Sunday's

I have brought two guitars in for shipping recently. I purchased a box the first time from them at $28 which first of all is ridiculous for a piece of cardboard and I know that’s about what they charge at FedEx too but at least theirs looks a bit better compared to the one at UPS but that’s not really the problem. The first time I went in they asked me if they wanted me to let them go ahead and package it up for me. I said sure because I thought it was a nice gesture, and since they were already charging so much for the box I might as well let them do it. They didn’t tell me that it costed anything as if I’m supposed to just guess. And honestly I didn’t look at the bill when I checked out because I figured I was just being charged for the box. And it was being sent so they’re already getting the money for the actual process of moving the parcel. in my opinion if you’re going to spend 27 or $28 on a box and you’re paying them to ship it they should be glad to just box it up for you and that’s what I thought was happening. So I go in there about 10 days later to mail the second guitar And I did look around for a box and I was going to box it up on my own and try to avoid the ridiculous cost for a piece of paper but I couldn’t find one so I went ahead and spent the $28 again. And then when I was checking out, the man asked me if I wanted him to box it up for me. The last time having not been told it costed anything I said sure and he didn’t say anything about a price for packaging it up. Right before I check out I see that the cost of the box and for packaging it up is about $68. So they’re going to charge me over $30 to do five minutes of work to tape a box closed? And I’m not even sure if the last time I was charged $30 for a ridiculous five minute thing which should just be a courtesy service since you’re already sending it through them, on top of paying a ridiculous amount of money for a stupid box. It would be one thing if when they asked you if you wanted them to box it up for you they said something like, “Would you like me to box it up for a charge of $35?” And they don’t. You know why they don’t do that? Because no one in their right mind unless they had all the money in the world like Jeff Bezos would spend that much for someone to put a piece of tape on a piece of cardboard. Let’s just say that from now on it’s going to be FedEx. If you’re going to offer service, you need to tell people that it’s going to cost them something. And there’s one guy in there that’s very rude every time I go in there. I try to ask him how he’s doing or say hello to him and he just brushes me off like I’m a piece of dirt. They’re going to charge all that money for ridiculously bad service the least they can do is smile, even if it’s fake

I needed to return an amplifier I had recently purchased. It needed to be unused and in the same condition as I purchased it in order for the seller to honor the return. It's large and heavy, and a long box. After they scanned it in, one of the associates set it on the floor on its end. The other proceeded to lay it down -- by tipping it until it fell over under its own weight. The box was clearly marked "FRAGILE" on several sides.I was angry about that, enough that after going to my car, I returned to the shop and proceeded to inquire about what recourse I might have if the amp was damaged as a result of the associate's cavalier abuse of the package. He proceeded to tell me that the package is going to drop four feet numerous times over the course of its trip back to the seller anyway so don't worry about it."So it's literally going to fall four feet onto a hard surface multiple times?" I asked."Yup."By this time another associate came out and joined the conversation. "Yeah, and it's probably going to have another hundred-pound box thrown on top of it."So, to summarize: Mistreatment of my package, followed by essentially a middle finger. No apologies. I'm going to avoid using UPS as much as possible in the future.

I went to this UPS yesterday to get something notarized. The guy at the front (Mike?) said he could notarize for me. After looking at my document he said he wouldn't do it because "it would be like legally acknowledging" the document. Isn't that the whole point of getting something notarized? He went on to say that he didn't think any notary would notarize my document.I got that same document notarized at my bank today no questions asked.
