We are so thankful to Dr. Frye and staff. During Covid, our cat "Cleo" became ill. Our vet (Diamond Vet) for years could not figure out what was wrong with Cleo, after several days in their hospital, they released her with no improvements. It was difficult finding a vet during Covid. With one call the EDMONDS VETERINARY HOSPITAL, they got us in the same day, referred us to a speciality clinic once they saw Cleo. Cleo had feline Covid and had to be put down. It was a loss, but we were so grateful to EDMONDS VETERINARY CLINIC for getting us to the right place so tough decisions could be made. EDMONDS VETERINARY CLINIC was compassionate, caring and affordable. We take our pets no-where else.

I took my aging dog to Edmonds Veterinary clinic, and I was appalled by their lack of customer service. Not once not twice, but three times they failed to call me back, especially when the vet knew that my dog was suffering with breathing problems, I ended up going in to the office just to get answers, their lack of concern for the health and well-being of my dog is unacceptable.

Dr. Woodke told me my dog had a heart murmur, and then checked a second time and said she didn't have one. So now I'm left wondering if my dog has a heart murmur or not. She literally just left it open ended. Then when I asked for the vet to send me the vaccination records, they have my dogs on record as being there a day I never was, and receiving vaccines they never have. This was just all around a really alarming experience and I absolutely will not be back. I think Dr. Woodke should develop communication skills that would better serve her clientele.

I've had two negative experiences here in the last few months - take this as a warning. My dog accidentally dislocated her hip (she's under a year old, so this was unexpected), took her to the vet, and was treated terribly by the vet herself. Wasn't given a referral or any options for treatment, and was met with resistance when I asked for one because it would "take too much time". Fast forward to last week, my dog goes into get spayed. I don't even meet with or talk to the vet, am not told who is doing my surgery, and given minimal instructions for aftercare. When I picked her up, the incision site was already swollen and bleeding, and I could tell that several of the stitches were loose/missing. I just thought this was normal and the vet tech didn't seem worried... over the next few days, it became progressively worse, but this was over the weekend when they were closed. Three days later, the incision completely opened due to an infection despite following all the protocols and keeping my dog sedated/crated and with a cone on. I had a bad feeling immediately after the procedure, but I figured I was paranoid. I took her to an emergency hospital where she had to undergo a second procedure for debridement and to sew up the incision. Absolutely do not bring your pet here.

Incredibly expensive, high staff turnover, and not very thorough. I've been going here three years, and now I feel a little stuck because most veterinarians are not taking new clients. If I can find an alternative within an hours drive, I will do so.

Today i called The Edmonds Veterinary Hospital for my 11 year old dog. She has been having a loose stool for a couple days and today she had some blood with her stool. I asked the receptionist " Walter " if he could suggested of any thing I could do at home before bringing her in. Walter said he wasn't a doctor and that he couldn't suggested or do anything. So I asked if a doctor at hospital could give me a call so I could talk to them .. he said NO doctors call clients. Not true because my dogs doctor has called me before. Walter said that I needed to make an appointment and the next appointment would be in a week. Off course that doesn't work for me since it would be 7 days later. I asked if I could be put me on a waiting list and he said no until I made an appointment. 7 days to wait for an appointment hopefully my dog doesn't die since no one can call me back. The way how Walter handle the situation was incorrect he has not manners to talk to clients and this is not the first time he has done this in person and over the phone. The way how Walter speaks to clients is unacceptable. By looking at the Yelp reviews looks like I'm not the only one. The owner of the veterinary should have a conversation with Walter.

Too many snide remarks from staff and the owner to bother with this place even though it is very conveniently located.

We have been taking pets to this vet for over 20 years with great service and care. Until recently, when our 8 year old cat suddenly became very uncomfortable, couldn't seem to get comfortable. It was a Saturday morning and we took Jack up to our vet hoping they could tell us what was happening. Instead the worker came out to our car, due to Covid, and told me that he had zero time for us and furthermore Jack hadn't been seen by the vet in many years. He shamed me. And sent us away. Walter is his name. Walter hadn't checked to see how many dollars we had spent on several expensive dog visits we had made over the last 3 months. if Walter didn't work there I might go back but not while that guy is there. He's nasty.

I used to love this clinic and freely recommended them but not after this last round of annual visits for my 2 adult cats. They are only conducting appts by curbside waiting. They don't disclose this when you make the appointment nor in their email of things to do/bring. They expect you to blindly give them your pet while you wait outside in the hot car. No consideration for the 2nd pet or human sitting for 30 min in a hot car and were shocked I had a problem with it. Nothing signed to authorize service. No conversation with vet until after pet was examined then it's just a phone call. Before vet even called office wanted payment but couldn't even itemize the charges. When I asked them to go over the charges over the phone since I am in the car and can't see paperwork was met with deep sigh and unwillingness to list fees. Very upsetting appointments. Both cats received 2 vaccination boosters. Next morning one of cats was struggling and obviously in pain on left hind leg. I called 3 times before being allowed to talk to an assistant evem though I asked for the vet, when I asked for the vet. Assistant did answer they gave vaccination in left leg...only they did it wrong poor kitty has a huge lump and it hurts her a lot! Her breathing was mildly off as well. This cat doesn't vocalize usually about anything and she was crying non stop obviously in distress from pain. I asked assistant if they could please see her to determine if we need to intervene on her pain. I was told she should be seen by someone but their clinic was too busy so I'd have to go find an emergency clinic to take her to!!!!! So they hurt the pet and refuse to take care of the damage they caused. I went to emergency and they said it appears too much medication was administered kitty was too lethargic and injection site is more swollen and tender than it should be, kitty having trouble walking, which usually is the result of a bad injection that hit a nerve or bone. Now I'm really ticked off. I won't ever be back to this clinic. And don't recommend anyone allow care to be given they aren't present for.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE. The utter lack of any care, compassion, understanding, or empathy shown by Dr. Fry was APPALLING. I cannot speak for the other male veterinarians here, but please stay far far away from Dr. Fry; more specifically she wrote off most of my concerns, she was very rude on the phone, spoke very condescendingly, told me she could not help myself or my dog because he was too excited (not aggressive, verbatim "excited"), and performed an underwhelming not even 10 minute 'new patient exam'. TLDR; avoid this veterinary hospital, but most importantly avoid Dr. Fry at all costs because she will show both you and your dog zero compassion. I was referred here by a family member, who in retrospect was not a patient of Dr. Fry but of a different veterinarian at this clinic. I brought in my brand new rescue dog, basically a stray with zero medical history, and understandably I had a laundry list of concerns. The gal at the front desk, and the vet tech who came out to get him from the car were the only two saving graces in this whole experience. I was very open about his lack of training (he's brand new) and that I was specifically looking for a full diagnostic appointment. Well about 10 min after dropping him off (per covid procedures) Dr. Fry calls me to go over her 'exam' she magically managed to perform in only 10 min (that was my first red flag). I could go on for a very long time in this review but to keep it to the point; she addressed 2 of my concerns, wrote the rest off, she was rude, showed zero empathy towards his situation, and offered zero resolutions to his lack of medical history. I ended the call by stating I would like to pick him up immediately whether she was done with her exam or not because I did NOT want him in her care any longer. I picked him up about 15 min later and I voiced my concerns and frustrations with the vet tech who was VERY understanding to the exchange that just happened (thank you to her) with the vet and told me I am not the first to encounter an exchange like this and that I'm actually one of MANY. The family member who referred me actually ends up calling to complain as well, and a different vet tech ends up calling me back to what I thought was apologize, but really she just gave me a little bit more information of the exam and then a lecture about how I need to seek training ASAP (which was already sought before this appointment..). I paid $200 something dollars to be lectured, not helped, given two medications, and spoke to condescendingly by some lady who didn't do her job to the best of her ability. Dr. Fry ran off not only me, but also the family member who referred me to this clinic. Such a terrible experience, I would never recommend this veterinary hospital to anyone.

The vet here is rude and uncaring. Very unhelpful and quick to suggest expensive surgery instead of providing educated prognosis. I do not recommend this vet. Find someone else.
