Employee (older woman) was hostile towards my parents before they could even get through the door and immediately started treating my dad and I like we were thiefs and/or dirty (told my dad he might have "sticky fingers"). We are POC.. she also followed my dad throughout the store when there were plenty of other customers she could have helped. When we walked out front I stood there for a second to take my hoodie off because I was getting hot and she ran out and said she was checking to see if we were knocking down the outdoor displays... this kind of profiling and disrespect is unacceptable. Do better. If you are POC or support POC best not to waste your money here. I will not support ignorance and blatant racism. My family just came to the island to enjoy our Easter weekend and had to end it on this note, unfortunate.

This is a great store no matter what ethnicity you are. I love the diversity of selections from all over the world, and the affordable price points. Spend time browsing to find that one of a kind treasure. I highly recommend!

Love this store! Bought me a bunch of stuff from here that I know I will never be able to find elsewhere. The lady who helped me was super friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back on my next visit.

I never felt uncomfortable in a shop being the only person of color, but this shop made me feel this way . While in there I was completely ignored while everyone else was spoken to and attended to.. and I was the only POC in there. Please avoid unless you support such establishments, Horrible Experience

We stopped in this shop on our honeymoon and walked away with a wonderful printed map of orcas island in teal ink. The store owner offered to print anything we wanted on the spot if they didn't have it in stock in the color or size we wanted. She also gave us a sturdy cardboard envelope to transport our print in so as not to bend it. We're looking forward to framing it for our home to remember our honeymoon!

Its a cute shop on orcas thats worth going into and looking around until you find that one thing you can't leave without. Thats how I ended up with a really cool bracelet.

Honestly I am shocked people are giving the owner praise. She was extremely rude and condescending when I asked a simple question of "do you sell puzzles." Which to me, based on the name, they might! I asked where I may find a puzzle on the island and she snapped back with, "I live here and there aren't any stores that sell puzzles." Now, I know this is false because my mom lives on the island and frequently buys puzzles from a shop on the island, which is why I was speaking out a shop in the first place. She rudely told me I was wrong over and over so I left as she coldly rolled her eyes at me. We ended up finding a place across the street with a large selection... I had been carrying around an item I had wanted to purchase but not after the service I received from this rude woman.
