“Want an old school, professional, efficient, warm, courteous, knowledgeable, experienced,time saving & give a damn pharmacy? You've found it in this one. They've been great every time.Had an emergency with my beloved Elderly cat on home hospice for cancer. Am lucky to have an outstanding hospice vet who recommended this pharmacy. He needed a stronger flavor in his rx this last time to get him to open his mouth I'd discovered & called the pharmacy the day before Xmas eve day to inquire as to what to do about it. I was told the solution but was unable to drive there due to being in the hospital myself 3 times this month & was too ill to drive anywhere. I explained my predicament & we knew the mail would take longer than my cat's immediate urgent needs. The pharmacist did something that blew me away that I've only ever had in very small towns long ago; he went above & beyond the call of duty in insane traffic well out of his way a few hours later to bring me the extra flavoring! Didn't charge me one red cent either for doing it.Remember when we mattered? We matter here as do our loved ones including our pet family. This give a damn caring service is almost extinct in modern times & I'm very grateful to the pharmacist, (Mike), & pharmacy for helping my precious kitty & I when we were in such need. Thank you again! Thanks to Mike & the entire NWPC crew BRAVO!This pharmacy walks the walk. I'd recommended it to everyone! You matter here. The pharmacist (& owner Mike), saved the day! He had offered a closed store day help in pharmacy via phone a few months back for my cat's same compounded rx should I need it. Been getting my cat's rx for over a year here at NW Pharmaceutical Compounding & I'm very impressed all around.The communication failuresor delays that happen at other pharmacies between pharmacy & doctor don't happen here nor are there issues with clear & concise communication with me. NWPC & crew make you feel better & lower the anxiety level instead of adding fuel to it. Too many pharmacies add insult to injury. Not here. You're in good hands & yes, they have your back as well as your loved pet's back. The rx wasn't for me but the emergency aid flavoring run to my home when I was too sick to drive eased my worries because I, also with a splinted wrist & hand, wasn't easily attempting a one handed rx cheek pouch application on a very fragile cat who wouldn't open up adding upset & struggle to his last precious days would've hindered him & my own ongoing recovery without a doubt. We were both helped.Kate's Gifts is also there in person & an utterly delightful bonus. If waiting for your rx you may be peeved at their efficiency because one becomes sucked into an enchanted vortex looking at Kate's Gifts! You've been warned, lol. “Never had any problems with this pharmacy. 4 stars are only for not always finding whatever I was looking for, but it's just me. They speak English, Russian and, I believe, Ukrainian too. Also, the owners speak Armenian. It's always better to call ahead to get a prescription filled than waiting for it there.”

“Whenever I visit the Northwest, Freddy's is a must since they are not a thing in So. Cal. I like the one-stop shopping deal, and I have a Freddy's card and know how to get discounts. We got a great deal on a large, wild caught salmon, which was a big hit at our barbeque. This location is one of the smaller ones, and limes were high priced, but we found a parking spot and a cart inside, so it's all good.”

“Bought some pimple patches from this location and when I finally came home and opened them they were empty!!! This don’t make no sense!! Why should I have to open products and make sure they’re there before I leave the store?! I tried to call and no answer! I will be returning in the morning and see how this situation is handled!!

Update: went up there the next day and customer service handled the situation accordingly. All I had to do was show my receipt and they understood my frustration. The great customer service they had I ended up spending another $160 there and exchanged my pimple patches. Will continue returning and supporting the business ??”

“We like our local Rite Aid. It is very clean and has friendly and helpful staff. The pharmacy is top notch and it’s always been great for answering questions, filling prescriptions and getting our vaccines.”

“I've been picking you prescriptions here on and off for about 9 years. I've always had decent to great service, and was never overly bothered with extensive wait times. I have even came here for vaccinations and it was a smooth encounter. My latest visit was yesterday and the day before. I had to drop off a prescription for a narcotic and due to an error on the RX, and the prescriber not reaching back out for clarification on instructions and my allergies, I could not get it filled. The pharmacy staff apologized profusely on the delay, which I know is entirely out of their control. I stopped back in the following day to pick up the prescription and the same pharmacist and tech were working. They, again, apologized, and I let them know it was in no trouble.

What people need to understand is that pharmacy staff members can't fart or breathe without clarification from your insurance and health care provider. Just because they are the middle man doesn't mean we should use them as a soundboard.

Ps: Their pharmacists can directly prescribe birth control via a quick consultation!”

“I have a broken back, so can no longer shop at a supermarket. Fred Meyer is a lifesaver with their home delivery. Their online web page for ordering is easy to navigate. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of products is great. When they come to deliver, I go out to my third-floor balcony and toss my keys down to the delivery man. He lets himself into the building and brings my groceries up to my apartment. Quick and easy from start to finish. I can't rave about them enough.”

“It’s disappointing to hear bad reviews here; but it’s probably because those people haven’t actually worked at a clinic or pharmacy themselves. Procedures and protocols can really limit how quickly something gets done—and often times (because I’ve worked in a clinic and pharmacy before), the ball gets dropped at the clinic. Granted, not always, but often. Why? Well, usually it’s because the clinics have so much that has to be done. They don’t get to focus on one area, like prescriptions only—and one has to give the benefit of the doubt that the staff didn’t avoid doing something on purpose, eh? That being said, we still just have to remember that no one is perfect, people have bad days or don’t feel well (patient or provider) and things happen. Still, in my experience, the people who work at this pharmacy, and many other Safeway pharmacies I’ve been to, are wonderful. They, like MOST pharmacies and other health care locations, deal with staff shortages and being overwhelmed with busy-ness. Yet, compared to other pharmacy companies, they have kind and caring staff. It’s why I’ve stayed with Safeway for years. I hope this helps someone see a different perspective. Best wishes.”

“The produce department is well stocked with superior product. I next visited the deli department, and the staff there was very helpful when I was making my selection. Next was the sushi section...well, yum. The next department was fresh fish. I might add that they had a nice selection, and the customer service person was delightful.

I would like to let the store manager know that there was a suspicious young man parked outside with his car motor running. I noticed it when I parked my car to go shopping. When I came out of the store and as I approached my car, there was this young man who was on the ground looking under my car and the car next to me. I asked him what he was doing, his comment to me, "You know." I told him I didn't. He stood up real fast and went to his vehicle. His car was parked diagonal from mine right in front of the car next to me. Now, he was, I believe, looking to steal our catalytic converter. Our car is low to the ground, and he would not be able to get to it. Lucky for me. I definitely surprised him.
It would be nice to have some security patrolling.”

Two employees, Anita and Hengel made my visit so seamless and I was able to get everything I wanted because they went the extra mile. “First time visiting my local Fred Meyer Pharmacy. The designed space seems very small, but really, the space is very efficient. And I loved that the RX information sheets were printed in small type. One sheet per RX, not four pages, as with Safeway. Not busy, very clean. The staff was very helpful. I will be back every month.”

“Initially, I visited this Safeway location to use one of the self service machine's in the lobby, after using the machine I decided to check out the bakery and get some dessert for the evening. The dessert section was very large, with an enormous selection of things to choose from. I had a question about something I was trying to find, so I asked a staff member and they were very helpful and and answered my question. This is a very good Safeway location.”
