This agency (AGENT) gives you a quote to lure you in and then raises your rates as soon as you give them your credit card information. I am a driver without any negative history and have received 2 additional rate increases, as well. And you're trapped. This is morally wrong and is a predator on retired people. I do not recommend them.

I've been a customer for many years and happy up to this point. That counts for a lot; however, I am disappointed with my last interaction. I changed my homeowner’s insurance with the hope of saving huge on it and netting some savings on my cars' insurance, which I bundled because of this transaction. I didn't get much in the form of a written proposal, which was a bit odd, but I trusted the agent, Again, I’ve been a customer for many years, so trust was there. I just took notes. When all was said and done, savings coming from my new homeowner’s insurance materialized but not for my car insurance. I learned the 'new' premium when I saw the bill. What was aggravating the most for me, is that when I called the agent to ask what happen, I've got responses with the same level of vagueness that got me on this predicament in the first place. e.g. "that is the price"... or "you can stop using one of your cars, and that will bring the premium down." One experience does not make a company and these guys have been good to me for 6-7 years. Yet, I worry what my next experience is going to be like with them.

I really appreciate the high level of customer service and attentive listening I received from your desk agents today... I'm a first time home owner with more questions than answers and both your agents excelled in unique ways that generally had me happy to have selected all state as my home insurer... Tracy was very thorough, patient, and off the bat knowledgeable about the intricacies of his field... never made me feel rushed, or set aside for later... This guy is a Rockstar and a clear example affirming the intuitive decision to select all state... people like him is why i don't intend on double dating with progressive when my auto policy expires (emerald member i believe,w/e over ten years without lapse is)...I then had questions about my policy and spoke with Jonathan at hq, no matter how absurd or preposterous my questions were or how much I probably embarrassed him, he remained collected, never making me feel any of my questions were stupid ones... blown away by the consistent quality of agents this place must have to get two back to back with unique gifts... these types of employees are why this company thrives and continues a foothold on the Seattle market! No question about would I recommend All-State... they are the ones setting the gold standard! True keepers!! Idk if you guys do annual assessments or not but if so take care of the young men above, give them a pay bump or more critical position... they retain and procure more business thru their capabilities, speech, and demeanor than you know... don't usually do this but the experiences have me blown away 28/10.... exceeded all expectations!!

Due to our rates going up, we called and canceled our policy as of Dec 3rd, we chose a new company. We were told we would receive a $97 and change refund because we previously paid the bill with autopay. We are still receiving emails and letters from the company that our policy will be cancelled if we don't pay the bill. We have been fighting to get our refund for over a month. When we contacted Allstate, they said they saw a note that the policy was cancelled effective Dec 3rd, but the Agent never followed through and never actually processed the cancellation. We were also told it would be done. Then today Jan 9, another letter in the mail that it is still owed and was never processed. We are so tired of the company not following through with their promises.

Unhelpful and uncooperative staff when it came to wanting to obtain new auto insurance. Switched to another major insurance company and saved substantially on my new vehicle and home insurance policies.

Agents gave false/inaccurate information resulting in lapse of coverage and then denied coverage due to lapse. Allstate must be doing well to turn away business

I was a customer for a year with the Stenmoe Agency, had automatic payments so always paid on time, and I've had no accidents or tickets since 2016. I have never not been without insurance on my vehicle. When they sent me a renewal of policy my rate was much higher than my previous policy. When I called to inquire about why I spoke with Brett Stenmoe who informed me I was not eligible for a preferred policy because I had not had insurance for a full 36 months. When I attempted to explain to him that my vehicle had never been uninsured he blew me off and told me to call Progressive. I was a little blown away. Obviously they don't want customers and good drivers. I would not recommend.

I've been disappointed with this company. They are slow to respond to calls or email, but quick to threaten policy cancellation even BEFORE your payment is due. I literally got a threatening letter Every month, and I was late only one month. My new company corrected errors on our policy that Stenmoe agency never corrected and is helpful whenever I call. Bonus, they haven't sent even one threatening letter.

The best auto insurance customer service I have had in 40 years. I can insure my pickup for the day for a run to the dump or to get ground bark, with just an email. The crew there is always available to explain coverage and policy issues, and they strive to get me every discount possible.
