I wanted to re-enter sewing into my hobby world-I’ve never been interested in junk equipment for any hobby or undertaking I do-So I was exceptionally pleased to see the quality of machines and notions at bellingham quality sewing and vacuum.I was greeted, and gently entertained across their world of machines, like a guided tour into wonderland?Eventually i landed on the machine i wanted.I also bought a machine for my 8yr old baby girl?The experience was a relief- because i felt like i had time to think and process rather than be force guided and rushed out with what they wanted to sell me.I still feel great about my purchase- seceral weeks later now…and have since returned for help with a quality desk.I’ll be going back for more- and more-and more:)If your looking for equipment that costs nothing and breaks all the time, and makes you regret ever considering the skill, then this might not be the place for you.But if your willing to purchase machine that wont gaslight you into feeling like a failure, but rather propel you into the amazing person you are—- go in and ask some questions!Buy once -cry once- then live with that incredible cheek to cheek smile on your face that emerges the moment you start stitching, forever more?

They gave me lessons on my machines and gave me hands-on training. Always there for me whenever I needed help. And of course, the products they sold were of the highest quality. It is a first class store.

This is my second purchase at Quality Sewing & Vacuum and I wouldn't go anywhere else. My budget isn't big but they always treat me like I have bought the most expensive sewing machine. Thank you, Andrea

I’m so impressed with the help I get when I have a problem with either my sewing machine or something I’ve been making. And, their prices are the same as the online , but online people don’t smile and give me advice or help. I love Bellingham Sewing and Vac❣️

I honestly thought that after reading all these good reviews I would have a pleasant experience with this shop. I love sewing and embroidery, and just wanted to check out their sale. While I was in there, the ladies followed me around and asked me if I need help 5 times. It felt like they were scared of me like I was going to steal or something. I'm in my early 20s, with piercings. Guess this frightens the old ladies. I left because of this and did not make a purchase due to how bad they made me feel. I feel like I look pretty normal, and not super out there for my age. I'll be taking my money elsewhere.

I took my featherweight in for a once over. It ran OK but had tension issues and made a clickety-clack I couldn't diagnose myself. It runs smooth as silk since I got it back. It had the wrong belt, apparently. The power cord is worn and they were adamant I not use it (they said they could replace it, but I can but I found I can buy own online and save $20), but the technician was kind enough to seal the worn parts of the cord. Very quick turnaround, excellent communication. I will be back next time I need my machines serviced.

Wonderful curb side pickup for our vacuum and professional cleaning.Nice technician and customer service at time of drop off and pickup. Highly recommend to get your vacuum cleaned and/or repaired.

Michelle knows her stuff. There are others like Abby who are interested in providing first class service. Not everyone there understands the machines but they are working on it. If they don’t have what you need, they usually can get it.

I brought my sewing machine in for what I thought would be servicing after trying to repair a rip in some jeans. The gentleman could see it was probably just the tension that needed adjustment, and he explained why it could make a big difference. He demonstrated on some folded denim after he turned the tension knob slightly, and it was perfect. The work was free, and he took my machine back to my car. Awesome, fast, and expert service!

I have been a customer of Quality Sewing for over 20 years, beginning with the Kirkland store and now the Bellingham location. They offer all the major sewing machine brands, furniture and accessories. The staff are well informed and friendly. My most recent purchase was a Bernina 790 Plus sewing machine which I absolutely love. I have enjoyed learning how to machine quilt and embroider with it, learning so much from the store's YouTube videos. These stores are sewing heaven!

There are a couple of choices (not many!) to get your sewing machine repaired in Bellingham but I am SO GLAD I took my computerized machine to them to get a tune up. It came back running like brand new! I fell in love with my machine all over again so (a) they did a terrific job and (b) I didn't buy a new one thus saving a ton of cash. :-) The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and offers advice and ideas on many different subjects. And yes, they'd love for you to buy a new machine but there's no sales pressure whatsoever. Plus they have FREE sewing classes! I signed up for a class to learn how to use my embroidery machine that I didn't even buy from them and they absolutely want you to bring in your own machine to learn. This is a great place to talk sewing and drool over new machines.

What a wonderful little shop! They fixed my vacuum (which was on it's last leg) faster than estimated and it's working like new!! And every staff person I interacted with was so helpful and friendly. If only all shopping experiences could be like this.
