I'll be honest, I don't frequent Best Buy nearly as much as I used to and this trip really solidified that reasoning. The lack of knowledgeable staff or staff in general for that matter blows my mind. The checkout lines were closed and they were directing patrons to checkout at customer service. Talk about a bottleneck!

The layout of the store is somewhat disjointed, e.g. chargers for iPhones and Apple Watches can be found in multiple sections of the store but are unique at each location.

What should have been 5 min. stop turned into 20+ min. stop. They need to hire competent staff who are trained well. Ordered 2 apple watches series 9 online from home as having a good sale on the watches. I also did a trade-in which was going to give me $30 credit back to credit card I was using (not best buy cc) due to condition etc. Got everything together to make the trade-in printed out my order etc. Email told me ready for pick-up so headed into town. Went to online order pick-up. Of course new hire, screwed up my trade-in by cancelling it. Called over another person who tried to help had to call yet another person and he was like "looks like it was cancelled" to which I said "look here at my printout of order it's on their you guys messed up and cancelled when ringing us up. Sure enough the first young person admitted he had cancelled it. Guess what I had to take a $30 gift card rather than get a $30 credit to the cc I used. What the heck we shop at Best Buy like once a year for only a bigger item we may need. I am so pissed what am I going to buy. Oh and then I found out I won't earn any rewards certificates because a year ago they changed the policy you now have to use a Best Buy credit card. So irritating and frustrating as I was thinking I would earn like $15 for the 2 watches and I could put with the $30 gift card (errrrrgggggg) and get maybe an airfryer. What the heck this Bham Best Buy has taken a major nose dive in staff and respect for paying customers. Beyond irritated also with main company not allowing reward certificates if you use a different cc to pay for a purchase. Now what am I going to buy? To say the least I will try to find something to buy with the gift card and I am not doing business again with Best Buy if I can help it. Not worth the hassle of these dumbasses, why should I be penalized with a gift card when they screwed up.

I tried calling the store and they do not answer their phones. I was on the phone for over 20 minutes and no one answered. I decided to go into the store and look for the items.

It's best buy. They sell electronics. They have online ordering and in store pickup.

The guy on the phone walked me through what I thought was placing an order in store pick up was actually for shipping. He told me to come to the store to pick it up, and when I went there they told me they can't do that. Now I have to wait for my order to come in. Whoever it was that answered the phone should lose their job.

Amazingly disappointed in this store. For a massive “big box” you’d think they would be able to train their staff to a standard worthy of their products. If you can even find an employee here they avoid making eye contact with you so they don’t have to interact. I asked how much something cost and the kid had “no idea”. I will drive an hour south to the Apple Store simply because I will no longer support this store. ??
