I went to two different UPS stores but their notary rep wasn't there. I took a chance and walked into the Bank of the Pacific Bellingham branch on Grand Ave.They knew I wasn't a customer and helped me notarize my document anyway. It was fast and pleasant, no sales pitch (he could see I was in a rush). And the kicker, they didn't even charge me. Just a free service to a non customer!!Thank you Bank of the Pacific. You saved my bacon today. The guy that helped me was Tom Mathewson, nice guy.”

“I have been a WECU member for over 20 years after having moved to Western Washington and having had to uproot my banking. I tried a couple of the big banks and had a lot of trouble with them, and their customer service wasn't all that great (although some individuals did stand out). I started banking with WECU and was delighted by their friendly and efficient customer service and the scope of its services. I have never had issues with transactions, and when my debit card number was used fraudulently to purchase several thousand dollars worth of airfare, they acted immediately to block further purchases, disable the card, issue me a new card AND they got me back my money the next day. I recently had my bag stolen, along with my WECU debit and credit cards. Within minutes of the loss, I was able to disable my cards. Within a couple of hours, I was able to stop in, make sure the cards were canceled, check that no new transactions were made, and walked out with brand new cards in my hand. The teller was SO concerned and lovely! In short, I'm very pleased with WECU and plan to keep my main banking with them.”

I was so stressed and had called customer service multiple times and eventually went into this branch location. An employee named Kelsey was SO amazing, kind, empathetic, and helpful! “I worked with Mystra at WECU to buy a house. She was so easy to work with and great with all the detailed work that goes into qualifying. We were on a very tight deadline and she even managed to close early. Also, I love the idea that WECU doesn't sell their loans to other companies, so with this mortgage, it's members loaning to other members.”
“Had some hiccups when they changed the accounts to paid. Also everytime it snows, they close, even when every bank in the county is open. Also, checks deposited in the ATM have "2+ day hold" more like 5 days... no matter of you're depositing the exact same check for the last 4 1/2 years. They will however over ride the hold manually when they decide to reopen. Over all, pretty happy with the bank despite the occasional inconvenience. No plans to switch in the future.”
