The staff is super nice! But I usually buy birdseed/unshelled peanuts for birds from this store and every single bag I’ve bought has turned out to be infested with pantry moths. They need better quality control.

I went to get some oil and was talked down to by the person helping me. Saying many things that were very inconsiderate and condescending. They made me feel inferior and made it very apparent they were making fun of me during the whole process.

Would not accept a light bulb return that was purchased in Ferndale Ace. Seriously? I have spent thousands of dollars ar this store, often to avoid big box. I have never had an ace refuse a return because it was purchased at another Ace or online.

Without fail, every time I enter this place I am promptly assisted to quickly find what I need. If I need help deciding between similar products, I always recieve great advice from an employee who is familiar with the products. Highly recommend this store if you need to find something specific!

This is the friendliest and most helpful hardware store in Bellingham. I needed 20 paint stir sticks to build catapults for an elementary church class activity, and they gave them to me for free! Makes me want to bake them cookies or something.

I was charged for a part that I didn't buy and when I brought in my receipt to get my money back I was told I didn't have a part to return, that it had been 18 days and that the security cameras refreshed after 8 to 10 days. I was also sold the wrong parts twice. I'll never go back there and buyer beware!

Tried to return a defective $20 bathroom fan. Didn’t keep my receipt because hey, $20 bathroom fan right? ??♂️ They wouldn’t take it back ? Explained I had the card used to purchase it but that didn’t matter. I just left the thing on the counter and walked out. Way to go helpful hardware place! Way to take a stand on an outdated receipt policy over $20! I’ll never go back to this Ace or and Ace. Hope the $20 was worth it ??♂️I’ve seen the defensive replies to negative reviews. Also seen a bunch of fake positive reviews. Instead of being snarky, why don’t you do something about your business practices? Not sure how you thought it was about wether your return policy was posted. It’s about an awful policy. Good luck!
