Everyone has a bad day at their job and that's no reason to lambast anyone, but when it's a hair dresser ... you are left with a look you have to live with and cannot switch up like an outfit. This is worth raising a red flag at least for the next unsuspecting Jane Doe. Particularly when you bring in an old photo **of yourself** with a haircut you liked well, but she insists would not work on your hair (?!) Not taking any time to consider how my hair fell and felt *when dry,* rather shooing me off to the hair-wash basin should have been the first red flag I wished I had heeded. Rushing a customer through is also noted by other reviewers here. Jayme should have taken the time to consider hair texture while dry, listen to concerns, offer a hair cut strategy and get concurrence from the customer. But, nope. While at the wash basin I tried to describe my unequal hair volume on both sides of the head (thanks to fall out). She may have been listening with half an ear. Very nonchalant, and seemed uninterested. Oops did I mention I did not pull up in a Porsche, Mercedes or BMW. Once in the chair she trimmed my underlayers to meet the crown layers so that the previous choppy mismatch was corrected...and yet I noted she didn't blend the ends in order for it to sit with a neat profile, it sat with a blunt edge. I know my hair curls when dry so it needs a shaping for the edge profile-- otherwise it is very severe. I showed her a photo of me, in a past haircut that I liked. I wanted the front to be shaped so it wasn't a severe straight curtain of the same length as the rest of my profile. She resisted cutting my front portion to shape a gentle frame around my face. It was impossible, she asserted, because my hair would spring up too high. How would she know? She barely look at it or touched it when dry!! The worst of it is that I spent well over $100 for a haircut that does not look symmetrical on either side of my face because...she didn't hear me about my thinner left side of the head. So the "fuller" right side is technically the same length as the left side, however, because more hair, it looks longer. Heed your gut and just avoid a hairstylist who doesn't seem really into you as customer.

Jaymie did such an awesome job on my hair. She takes all the safety precautions necessary and then some. If she doesn't like how something turns out, she takes the time and makes it look perfect before leaving the salon. Another nice thing, you can make an appointment online. Pretty amazing feature.

New to the area and was very nervous because my hair is very fine/thin tough to cut and I’ve had a ton of terrible cuts /colors throughout my lifetime! I saw Jayme Noh and she clearly knows hair. Spent a good amount of time consulting about what I wanted and what I needed. She was great. Love my cut/color. I like the salon too. Not fancy but comfortable, plenty of parking, no hassles, and priced just right. I recommend!Services: Hair coloring

I saw Jayme Noh and she was great. My type of hair - thin and fine - is really difficult to cut because any mistake shows. I've also had too many terrible cuts/colors which doesn't make it any better trying a new person. She knows hair. She's been in the business a long time and is knowledgeable. She consulted with me first and made suggestions that I accepted. Love my cut/color. I like the salon too. No hassle. Plenty of parking. Easy to get to from Renton. She's also priced right. Positive experience for me and I'll go back!

Woman hair cut. Appointment with Jaymie Noah at 12:30. I arrived on time and she welcomed me at ~12:35. I mentioned that my front hair was destroyed by some children glue accident and would like for some fix. She said ok and started to rush her business on me and done and I went for payment. My receipt time shows 12:43No fix for the front hair at all.If I paid 80$ I'd expected my ask been cared and the outcome was not looks like as (actually worse than) some entry level service I received from any Vietnamese salons which only ask for like 30 bucks.

Decided to try this salon for the convenient location and good reviews. Booked online appt. with Jayme and it was not only easy but helpful because I signed up for reminder texts. In today's busy world, this is so excellent!Arrived at the salon and opened the door to a mostly square working space that is divided into sections by freestanding cabinetry. By the door are two waiting chairs and the reception stand. To the right, just behind that, there is hair washing station. Farther back is a place to hang coats as well as a powder room. The rest of the space is for hairdresser stations. Color scheme is brown and black, a bit dark but makes sense because there are basically windows all around. Summer can make it very bright.Jayme did a quick consultation and then came the shampoo. She is really good at that! I feel like my hair and scalp are still singing from the gentle lathering. All fresh and clean, she proceeded to give my hair the trim I had asked for on this visit. She had used a very good conditioner, I must say, because for once I didn't need to cry "Ouch!" A miracle!I had asked for a simple straight cut and she did a great job. At the completion she wanted to use those texturizing shears on the ends and I decided to say yes to that since I plan on getting my hair shorter soon anyway. (Note that normally I would have said no because I think barber scissors can do a better job.) Anyway, she did dry my hair nicely and finished off any flyaways with a flat iron, which I thought was very nice. The experience was definitely positive. Why not 5 stars, then? Well, this is a neighborhood salon, after all, not a posh spa salon, so I don't want to give that impression. More importantly, would I return? Yes, I would, and I would probably be so bold as to ask for precisely what I want, because Jayme is a very down to earth and approachable person, and she would be up for that.Note: A cancellation policy that includes a cancellation fee is in place. You'll want to read up on it or ask about it when you book, and be okay with it. Remember they are selling an ephemeral service here, so it seems appropriate to respect that so the shop can stay in business.

Waste of time coming here, spent $500 just for my hair to look the exact same. Jaymie was unfriendly and unprofessional. Don't bother!
