Ken was absolutely AWESOME!!!!! He was very pleasant and helpful and assisted us in resolving our issue. He was courteous and professional and went out of his way to answer our concerns. Outstanding job, Ken. Thank you very much for your time and expertise. If we should need storage in the future, we will most definitely use the Glacier West Storage in Belfair.Fran A.

Last month we rented a storage unit from Glacier West. We were given a code for entry and told their lock would be removed from the unit we paid for. We were also told someone would be onsite when we arrived during their business hours on a Saturday. We moved our stuff from 1.5 hours away with two moving trucks. When we arrived to drop off our stuff our code didn't work and no staff was there. We called the main number and they told us they were escalating the issue. We finally got through the gate to find there was a lock on our unit. We called the main number 7-8 times they said they were calling all the local staff and would get back to us. We never got a call back ever from them. Come to find out the main office called no one. Finally after waiting 3-4 hours with our two young children and movers we rented a unit at another facility down the road which cost us 3 time more for the unit because it was a last minute rental and we had to take what they had left. In total it cost us over $400 in unnecessary expenses plus our entire afternoon because of their mistakes and complete lack of customer service. We contacted them to see what they could do about the additional expenses we incurred and we were told they could do nothing for us. Absolutely the worst customer service experience in my life. I realized this company can't be trusted and they take no responsibility for their mistakes, zero! How can they lock me out of a unit that I legally rented and paid for and take zero responsibility for the damages it caused, it's mind blowing. If you are moving with trucks and need to rely on being able to access your unit that you paid for this company is not the one to rent from!!!!

Don't do autopay. I cleared out my storage and never got my pro-rated refund for the payment that had just been taken. When I called to see what the hold up was, I was told several people are waiting on a refund and they've emailed some out of town owner. The local employees said they didn't have any recourse other than emailing this lady. It's shady.

This place just s*cks now that out-of-town owners have taken over! They have zero ties to our community and are blatant about showing their customers that they are basically scam-artists who bought the property to shake down the customers and maximize their profit while providing the worst security or service possible. My storage unit where I keep my things has undergone ZERO upgrades or changes but today I got notice they are raising rents AGAIN! This is the third time since they took over from the old LOCAL owners!! Every time you receive any communication from Glacier West Storage it is BAD NEWS! Your rent is being increased, your stored items have been damaged, the gate is broken and wide open again, your rent is being increased again, they're now forcing all customers to purchase their for-profit "insurance" plan, thieves have struck units, the gate is broken again, your rent is being increased AGAIN!! The bottom line is the owners of this outfit are extremely greedy, unscrupulous and abusive towards their paying customers and you'd definitely be better of using ANY OTHER STORAGE in the area or just buy a shed... theres several better options in Belfair and a new one being built in Union!!
