I'd like to give a shout-out to Claire Diaz, the branch manager at BofA's Bainbridge Island location. She helped me resolve a small business account issue today quickly and effectively, and avoided the need for me to return for a later appointment. Claire leads by example and gives this big bank branch all the service of a local organization that places people first.

This bank utterly failed to accommodate me as I am attempting to begin my journey as an Active Duty Member of the United States Military. They refused to sign a crucial, yet simple federal direct deposit form for me because "I could edit the information" after they signed, despite the only part of the document not being pre-printed having been my direct deposit account # (yes I'm totally going to edit the document and send my hard-earned money to someone else's account....). Even if this were the case they could easily make a copy of the document and save it in records in case I were to be foolish enough to screw myself out of my own money. They provided me with useless excuses and documents that won't solve this very simple, yet frustrating issue. Seems like this might be an issue with BofA itself, however, maybe it's just the neglect and laziness of these specific bank managers. They are making my attempts to serve my country as bureaucratic and difficult as possible when all I need is a simple signature to confirm that I am in fact the owner of my own banking account. Thanks for supporting your troops BofA! (Ironically Chase bank accommodates future U.S. soldiers very easily, my buddy brought the same exact document into Chase bank a couple of days before me and got the signature within 2 minutes and without any excuses or issues. So much for them being Bank of "America")

Worst customer service ever! I've had a business account with B of A out of state for several years and attempted to close it when I retired to WA. It's taken 5 phone calls and nearly 2 hours of time to get zero clear answers. I was told: 1. We'd mail you the balance but our system is down. 2. You can transfer the money but it has to be into another BofA account. 3. You have to make an in-person appointment and you MAY need to bring several documents (which are in my moving boxes) but maybe we won't need the docs. We can't tell you over the phone - and that response was from the genius asst manager! 4. You are the 87th caller and won a $100 Visa gift card. If you answer a few questions then I can close your account. Yep true. The asst manager became irritated when I asked more questions about MY money. Get into another line of work. Unreal incompetence!

All of your representatives are too nice. I put in a customer issue or message yesterday on your website and got my Canadian money ordered in 24 hours. Alanna was so gracious for my business. Trevor went above and beyond to find me a Bank Of America bank who had Canadian money for my vacation. Trevor called around Washington State to find me the closest bank. As always I put things off to the last minute. With people like this , who work for Bank of America , I can breathe a little easier. Thanks for all your kindness. Alanna you are a "gem."

Wonderful employees! Very knowledgeable and they have always found a way to resolve even the most complex financial issues over the many years we've banked here. Claire runs it like a small town bank and we really love that!

I've been with BOA for 20+ years. In fact I was a Nations Bank customer when BOA bought them out. I am so tired of the terrible service here at the Bainbridge Island center. I avoid the place when possible. Supposedly I am a "preferred client". So today, I loaded up my two boys and headed to the bank to help them open a savings account. I was turned away because I didn't have an appointment and they were busy. "You can come back tomorrow" was what I was told. Here sit two kids, expecting to open an account and deposit their money, and the example made was a rude teller acting like we interrupted the flow and were ridiculous for showing up. The boys wanted to bank where dad does. Dad needs to bank somewhere else. Ludicrous.
