Enjoyed this track as an out-of-towner.
Course design is Washington national’s best quality. Plenty of predicaments on this course to challenge golfers of all skill levels. Some reviews mention rocks in the bunkers, but that wasn’t the case in late August. Glad the bunkers played well given there are so many out there. Conditions overall aren’t bad for the price point.
The UW branding throughout was cool. Most carts are UW themed, but we spotted a Wazzu and Oregon cart as well.

Typical Okie. What once was a great course is now mediocre and overpriced. The lay out is awesome…. The upkeep is lacking. Bunkers aren’t even halfway decent…and there’s a ton of them. It’s one thing to design a great course….. it’s another to maintain it.

Great course greens are awesome very fast. Only complaint would be the sand in the bunkers has too many rocks, your wedge will get scratched

Great course. $31 for a double Paloma and $7 for a hot dog at the turn is a liiittle steep.

Good course. Fun with the layout. Decent conditions although the price is a bit high. Get a decent rate later in the day if you can. Greens are great right now. Bunkers should be winter rules of some sort. Too many rocks. Seriously they need do something about this. With so many bunkers on the course, they shouldn’t be this bad.

Whereas I don’t believe WA National will ever enjoy the splendor of its early days, I can say I enjoyed my round there in mid-July ‘24.
After a serious and almost inexcusable dip in quality and condition of the course when I played there in ‘22, I found the course in relatively great shape and the pace of play that one would expect for a foursome on a July afternoon (about 4 hours, 20 minutes). I understand that Covid wreaked havoc on many businesses, but by and large, golf courses enjoyed increased play and I’m sure WA Natl. was no exception - especially as they charged normal rates.
Some of the bunkers still need some work and a couple fairways were burned out, but overall, I was pleased with the course and the price ($115) was reasonable. At its peak, WA National rated a 9.5 in my book. Today, I’d say it’s a solid 8.0 and I would’ve rated it a 5.5 two years ago. Whatever they’ve done to improve the course since then is working. Keep it up.

Great course! Recommend not using Driver on most of the holes if playing the Whites. Greens were pretty fast.
