The African American lady who return calls, needs to return back to civilization and watch some English Communication 101 Classes.Please expect to be HUMILIATED, and feel BAD.She thinks you're taking money from her own account.I will never reach out to these MF's. Hard working families donate their stuff so some of the outcome can be donated back for those who in need.The last thing I wanted to be humiliated is by this B.I literally hang up the line, as someone was trying to cool her down, and when they called me back, I ignored them.Never donate or reach out.

I can agree whoever answers that phone there are very very rude very disrespectful very unprofessional the way they talk to the candidates on the phone that is looking for assistance as if they're trying to belittle and downgrade them as if they are incompetent and they are less fortunate someone's just fall short at the time and they're looking for a little help to get back beyond their standards but doesn't mean that they have to come off the way they do I have called today myself for assistance and the lady Kia answer the phone and her coworker in the background was so loud and nasty and rude I cussed their pillow and after putting them in their place she respond to me they can't help me anyway somehow in some way whoever hires them should be ashamed of yourself to have them deal with people on the social outside because clearly they don't have great customer service or lily clearly have a heart to see that others just fall short because they get up and sit on their tails and just push paperwork

Had a horrible experience there with the social worker. I’m not even sure how she works in human services with such a nasty attitude. She actually made me cry by belittling me and being beyond rude. I’m a social worker myself and ended up needing assistance, so I know first hand how you deal with clients. I hope she was replaced, because wow, she was just so ugly on the inside.

I’m not sure who answers the main phone but the person was highly rude. After receiving a call from a person that works there, I called them back and the lady just “assumed” I was a first time caller looking for assistance. The tone of her voice was ugly and her attitude was unnecessary.I understand people constantly call in for help or whatever it is that they need, but the person answering the phone should always have a high level of compassion within them or the drive to be of service. Just because people in need reach out for assistance doesn’t mean you have the right to speak rudely or however you choose. I’m not sure if she’s a volunteer or a paid worker but she needs to humble herself. She makes your charity look bad. Thanks for the call back but I’ll pass on the help.

I had filled the angel tree application on the same day the social worker sent it from my daughter school and summited it. I called a few days after to let them know I had filled it out and summited with an error and said it was ok they will let me know. I waited suddenly got a declined email and I proceed to call and ask why. They said because I summited it until after the deadline and to ask for the school help.when I was trying to explain what had happened and let her know I had filled it out and summited before deadline she became very rude. in no way was I rude or spoke to her in a ugly tone to receive such ugly energy and tone from the receptionist which was the same one who answered the phone call the first time I called to let him know about my error on the application. Her energy was so awful and I could see it's not the first time she's been rude viewing the comments on this Google reviews.

Called them in December regarding an eviction and was told no funding! To call back mid January! I called today the 13th and they told me the cut off day for help was the 8th @ 10am! I don't know who was in the office either time I called but they were disrespectful and incompetent! They don't even deserve a star for the amount of disrespect they displayed on the phone!
