“We had been using the Costco pharmacy in Springfield but decided to drop off a prescription at the Costco in Potomac Mills since it was more convenient. When dropping off the prescription, the person who took the prescription, Theresa, noticed that the strength of the medication was higher than previously so she called our physician who admitted that it was a mistake and reduced the strength. Theresa went above and beyond to help us, and she did so with such a charming personality. I'm sure that we will now be using only the Potomac Mills Costco pharmacy, thanks to Theresa.”

“Sam's Club is losing out to its competition. The ridiculous notion of treating all of their customers as if they are thieves is too much. Checking receipts at the door is something I can live with. Now, the "checker" has to scan your receipt and EVERYTHING in your cart to make sure you didn't steal anything. When the store is crowded and there's only one "checker," (Which is usually the case) it takes longer to exit the store than it does to shop! Unfortunately, theft is a cost of doing business. Most of their customers do not steal, but they get treated as though they do. This means more trips to Costco and BJ's and less to Sam's.”

“I recently had most of my prescriptions transferred to Walgreens after using another local pharmacy for the last 7 years. I was a regular at my old pharmacy and they knew me by named and always greeted me with a smile. However, they recently had staffing changes so I decided to switch for convenience since loyalty was no longer a compelling factor. I've received mostly good service although this location is extremely busy and hectic at what seems like all times days/time of days.I went a couple of weeks ago and experienced a near fainting episode while waiting in a long line (4 in front and 4 behind). One kind onlooker helped me find a seat in the waiting area and eventually shared with the pharmacy staff that I was ill (bless her). I was awake but very very dizzy and had my head back, I've had episodes of syncope previously over the year but never alone. In a few minutes the pharmacist (Noir King) rushed to my side, inquired as to my needs, purchased water with her OWN money and assisted in retrieving my prescriptions. She was my s-hero that day! In a crowded pharmacy she was the only person who came to my aid. In a pandemic world I get that others don't want to stop and help others. Noir stooped close to me (I was masked), touched my shoulder and gave me her attention. It was only for a few minutes but it meant the world to me. Being a pharmacist has never looked easy and I have had my share of difficult encounters, but as busy as she was she took the time to care.”

“The motivation behind this review is to recognize one Pharmacist in particular who works at the Smoketown location. Another associate said his name is Carl. He usually works on Tuesday and o know this because I've recently started timing my refills to coincide with his schedule. Pharmacist Carl seems to be the only person who goes above and beyond to resolve issues. Whether it be a mistake on the doctors part or fixing another pharmacist mistake I always know it will be resolved when Carls is on duty. I still use the Woodbridge location even after I moved because the pharmacy is efficient and most pharmacist that work there are friendly and knowledgeable. There is also a couple of women Pharmacist who are very good too. Same for the people who check out at the pharmacy most all are very friendly and professional. One girl stands out for that chip on her shoulder. Nameless girl but she average looking w blonde hair, but has a superiority complex waffling from her judgmental face.Otherwise I highly recommend.”

There weren’t any self checkout stations, which would have been helpful while 5 people stood in line for at least 7-8 minutes waiting for one worker to help someone with photos, and another worker stocked shelves. The shelf stocker only came over to help with checkout when called. Overall though the place is easy to navigate, clean, and well stocked.”
