“At first- I just noticed how inexpensive everything was. It didn't take long to figure it out. Wholesale items from other retailers because of item's discontinued and or best by date. No thanks...I kept coming back because of the produce: Potatoes, onions, garlic, tomatoes, greens and everything in-between seemed too good for the price tag associated with them. I heard, that the Amish community owns the grocery chain. That made sense, so I continued to shop there. Three months ago I started my own business and things are tight. I was short on my most recent purchase by only a couple dollars. The miscalculation prompted me to quickly reach for my bags and fish out whatever I could to make the till come to what I had on hand to spend. The cashier politely and discreetly said "No. Stop. It's OK. Don't." Apparently the store has a system in place for such an event. The store sets aside extra money to help customers who can not pay their bill. My restrictions and budget limitations are self imposed. However, I realize that there are many folks out there that work very hard to make ends meet, and still come up short. Sharp Shopper has earned my business and this review.”

“This is one of the cleanest gas stations/convenience stores. The owner is a super nice guy and always has a smile and a handshake. He recently remodeled and has double the space plus a new food service area. I had a sausage, bacon, egg & cheese sandwich and it was the most delicious I have ever had. He uses fresh ingredients (not those thin frozen patties, like most places). He also has the best fuel prices around.”

“Martins is a one of a kind store. There are many grocery stores but this store is mine. I go in and everyone is pleasant. The store always has what I need, never needing a substitution for that special item. Fresh produce that is always just right. Deli meats that make that perfect sandwich. I missed my appointment yesterday due issues at the previous receiver, and they were extremely accommodating and allowed me to come in at opening to be unloaded first. “International market with awesome produce, meat, and seafood. Lots of stuff you just can't find anywhere else in town, and all very good. Seafood department is impressive.Ok so there's a smell when you go in here... it's a busy international market after all. Nevermind that. If you can get over it, you'll find all sorts of yummy treasures ?And they're always jamming awesome tunes over the speakers ?I feed my dogs a raw diet (modified BARF), and get all my hard-to-find ingredients here. My dogs love it. Always high quality.”

“I needed a gender reveal cake on short notice. Turns out Walmart had a cake to match the mom’s decor for the party! The original design had no writing and was only blue at the bottom. The decorator added pink to the sky for the reveal. Not only was the cake beautiful it was delicious. Lots of compliments!”

“It's a standard convenience store! I don't know what everyone is expecting, but this place has been around forever, so you kind of know what to expect. It's nothing fancy, but it has the bare basics that you need. I've never had any issues at this particular location, but don't go in expecting much more than you see on the outside! =)”

“I want to give this store a one star but not for the service. Their employees are stretched really thin. Two people were running around between the different stations. One of those individuals was actual working all three stations at one time while the other one was dealing with something different. They need more help.”

“One of the better Walmarts I have seen. I found items in this Walmart that my local Walmart does not have. This Walmart had a local brand of pizza not found in other Walmarts. Same with coffee. I have never seen the death wish coffee before. We picked some up and it had a great flavor.”

“Having lived in Winchester for quite some time, this Target is what we jokingly refer to as "The Good Target" (The one on Legge Blvd being the bad one). I see a lot of reviews that point out one bad experience, and yes I can see why that can leave a bad taste in your mouth, but given the volume of people that work here I don't want to judge the whole store one a few bad apples (yes I've had a couple bad experiences too). My overall experiences here have been great. The store is always neat and clean and I rarely have a hard time finding the things I want to. Even if I do, there's always someone around that I'm able to ask for help. I've chatted with the manager a few times who has always been super friendly to me. The pharmacy inside this store cannot be beat. The pharmacist, Carrie, and all the staff are amazing. Overall, I almost always leave here happy.”

“Stopped in here whilst on vacation to grab a couple of things for our house, and was surprised by the large selection. The fresh fruit and vegetable area was quite large, as was the bakery. I was able to find everything I needed very quickly and the store was very clean. Only complaint was that there was no pumpkin beer but I'm sure it was due to the fact that it was late August and not closer to fall. Would return if in the area!”
