Boone Home Improvement just completed extensive work on my house in Charles City County -- replaced board on and stained the house, decks, pier and stairs to pier. They performed the work on a timely basis, with excellent results and at a fair price. Mr. Boone is trustworthy, courteous, fair, responsible and customer focused.

Roof replacement on 4/21-22/2022. Mr Boone provided a detailed description of what was needed to replace our roof. A contract was prepared and listed all materials to be used and methods of installation.We are very pleased with the end result and look of the new GAF roof, the installation process was as described and was not a rushed job.Mr Boone was easy to communicate with via email, and responded to all inquiries, he also alerted us of a pending price increase of GAF materials scheduled for this spring, and was able to honor the quoted price fromJanuary. Would recommend Mr Boone for your roofing needs.

We are extremely pleased with our new 'Hardie Plank Siding', which replaced the existing 'Vinyl Siding' on our home. Boone's Home Improvement provided competitive pricing, coupled with skilled craftsmen to complete the work in a timely manner. Owner Wayne ***** does not know construction sufficiently to manage workers. Has some good workers but they get terrible guidance and oversight. He also failed to pull permits for work that clearly needed permits (e.g. framing). I have had to spend many, many hours overseeing work and frankly being my own GC to assure work gets done correctly. Might be OK for a simple job, but a disaster for a complex one.

Very disappointed. Had Mr. Boone out to bid a job. Never heard back. Called him after several weeks past the time he said he would get back to me and he did apologize. But had I not called, I would still be waiting. Very unprofessional. I don't care what the situation, a simple phone call to give me a heads up would have sufficed. That is just being a professional. instead, I held up my decision making process waiting on this unreliable contractor. Be professional and don't make weak excuses.

EXCELLENT JOB!!!Boone's Home Improvement, LLC. replaced the roof on our home and we are so pleased with the outcome. Mr. Boone was informative, patient and we truly appreciated his honesty!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for home improvements! We live out of state and own a rental property in Newport News. There were many problems that were coming up on an inspection report when we went to sell it, but finding someone we could trust to do repairs, and being 2k miles away, was something we dreaded. Searching the Internet I read about Boone's background and work ethic and something told me to take a chance on him. Yes! We were not disappointed in any way. The new roof, fascia/eaves, and repairs on a deck that some other guys had totally botched, were completed by Boone's Home Repair in just a few days. Communication with us during the project start to finish was excellent and put us at ease. He sent daily pictures of the work and when our realtor went out to check on the property he was so impressed with Mr. Boone that he said he definitely wanted to keep in touch and hire him for other projects on his properties. Mr. Boone also took care of choosing a shingle that matched the old roof and coordinating the trim colors; he definitely has an eye for aesthetics. Basically, we were able to just tell him what was needed and he took charge from there. That's exactly what we needed with being long distance! As for pricing, his bid was very reasonable and fair. We could not be happier and relieved to have the work done so we can get the property back on the market. And lastly, I have to say... It was refreshing to work with someone that is honest and has integrity in the work they do.
