On their window it says open at 9 am on Saturdays. So I went there @ 9 am & it was closed. I looked online & it said it’s open @ 9:30 am. So I had time to wait, so I waited. No one was there @ 9:30 either. Not cool.

I’ve tried to give this place multiple chances. Hours are listed for 8:30. I arrived at 9:10 with lights off and doors locked.
When they are open-customer service is incredibly slow and they seem to be troubled with my business.

I only came to the comments of this place because I was sure there were people complaining about how rude the older man who is always in this store is. I have great respect for people, especially adults, because my parents are older and I want them to always be treated with respect, but this man always seems to be in a bad mood and doesn't seem to want to help people who don't know how the service works. He hopes that the first time you go there you have the same knowledge that he has.

This UPS location is great. It happens to be the closest location to me but they also have the best service I’ve received at any UPS location in the area. The staff is super friendly, very efficient, and just a pleasure to do business with. Highly recommend this UPS store.

RUDE!
I came to return a package, the old rude man came from the back, no greeting. I put the package and label on the counter and he asked what am I supposed to do with this? I replied I don’t work here you tell me what you do with returns. He threatened to call the police which I did not care. Started yammering on and on in which I tell him a few choice words and decided to take my business elsewhere. This is the second time I have been treated rudely by this man and I hope y’all are corporate because I’m reporting it!

The employee said only Democrats here and asked a customer if he was a Democrat. Not sure what conversation I walked in on, but it made me uncomfortable.

Went to this location this morning, it was a really bad experience. The employee was not helpful at all, he took two calls from family members while I waited for his help. He did not know how to help me print my labels for Amazon, granted, I should have known how but didn't. I was getting frustrated and told him I would just come back another day and he said okay and was putting up the envelopes that I had chosen to mail my items. I then remembered I had to mail out these items right away in order to get my refund. So I calmed myself down, I was never rude to him by any means, and figured it out for myself. I was at the same location about three weeks ago and a younger employee was so helpful and I really appreciated him. But if I return and see this older gentleman again, I will turn around and walk out. And he then took a third phone call!

Local and convenient but won't return due to poor/rude treatment. I was called rude and threatened because I questioned why they would need a phone number.Was treated abruptly by an employee here previously, but, I excused it when they were busy. Myself and only one other person were here at this time. There is rarely a reason for such poor service.

Just attempted to return my at and t rental equipment which is required to be dropped off at either a ups or fed ex location, employee said he could not process my at and t equipment return “due to volum” and “slow at and t equipment processing times” there was only 1 other customer in store. Called the UPS store on Shore and they said they’d process it immediately. Employee here at 1100 on 1-2-24 is lazy and has no customer service skills.

The gentleman at the Haygood store was friendly and notarized my document with no problem at all. No drama, no theatrics and no bad attitude--exactly what you expect when you just want to get your documents signed and your packages shipped.It's a night and day difference between this store and the Shore Drive store, which I gave a single star because there wasn't a lower score.

I have been reading some of the other reviews and I am not surprised it is not just me. The little man working the counter is rude. His customer service is simply poor. I’ve been to this location on more than one occasion and he is always rude. It is only because of location that I go to this store but going forward I will not. If I have to drive clear across Virginia Beach, I will do so. Just poor customer service all the way around.

The fact that I am directly across the street from this location but would drive across town is a clear sign that the Owner of this location is horrible. I have given him the benefit of the doubt that maybe the first 2 times that he was having a bad day, but the bad days are the norm after a few more visits and hearing other Patrons poor experiences as well.
