I never wore scrubs before and am a big guy.The staff were very friendly and helpful and found a good size for me for 1 outfit and orderd 2 more to fit my size. Awsome expeeience , great staff.”

“I first heard of this boutique on TikTok i saw one of the videos!! So i had to check it out!!I absolutely love the storefront and will be adding a picture of that tomorrow!! The sign outside tells about deals and it's a very welcoming environment!When I walked in i wasn't sure wha .to expect but I was greeted by the shop owner and she is amazing! Her energy and vibe were amazing!! I looked around and picked out three pieces i thought I'd like and she went and picked out a couple she thought would be good!! I ended up buying the maxi dress she picked!! I also grabbed a pair of shorts and a jumper!!I love looking good but I'm awful at picking out the best match or outfit and she solves this! I can walk in and say I'm looking for....... And she will work her magic!! I will be back and I'll post more pics of my haul!!This is a must go to for stylish clothes in plenty of sizes!! My #1 go to for a styled look!”

“I LOVE this store, it has the cutest dresses, accessories, and clothing in general! Half of my closet is from this store. Although one problem for me is that some dresses gape too much under my arm revealing my chest, majority of dresses when you tighten the straps or bunches up in the back, revealing your bottom. Great for pictures, not for everyday events. This may just be a problem for me because some dresses only size from S-L and I am a XS.”
“After a foot injury, my doctor told me to buy New Balance sneakers. I haven't worn sneakers in thirty years. I got the wrong ones. They have a guarantee. I took them up on it and tried on virtually every style in my size. Found a pair that is much more comfortable. What I found amazing was that the young man who worked there was extremely knowledgeable and ever so nice. They took my first pair back and will donate them. Someone will get a free pair of gently used shoes. I'll be back in six months for a new pair.”

“My friend suggested we stop in here while out on a shopping trip nearby and boy am I glad she did! It's by The Bagel Baker shop. I had no idea it was here. If you've been to Monkee's this is sort'of like that boutique but less pretentious and more affordable. They had a great range of items in the store - shorts, jeans, dresses, sweaters and accessories. Some really cute jewelry and other items as well as a few shoes. It's an adorable boutique with a unisex bathroom in back and two fitting rooms. Friendly staff greeted and helped us. I saw some adorable everyday pieces and tunics as well as some holiday party dresses and sweaters! I will def be back.”

Though this location is not the one I originally started shopping at, the manager is the same from my old favorite store, he and the rest of the employees here will make you feel very welcome.The location is easily accessible from the interstate, and is also in close proximity to a lot of other wonderful shops and restaurants in the Virginia Beach Town Center area.Keep an eye out for sales and coupons, they're frequently provided, especially if you sign up to receive emails!I would prefer to get my clothes from DXL over any other store, hands down.UPDATE: I wrote the update years ago, IIRC. Every point still stands, they continue to have great customer service and are extremely accommodating and helpful. Can't sing DXL's praises enough.”

“Wish I could give more then 5 stars. I was having hard time getting shirts for my groomsmen for my wedding. I called spoke with Kelly and she did some searching found out that the company will be shipping the shirts out again Nov 1. I got the shirts today 10/23/21. Not only did Kelly help get the shirts I wanted she was able to find a shirt for my ring bearer. With the shortages going on I thought I would had to change shirts and colors. Kelly was so nice and helpfull.”

“I went into Journey's a couple days ago just to look at some shoes for Christmas. Icky was the employee that helped ne the whole time. At first I thought her name was a little silly but she was a great help and amazing. I didn't expect to buy more than one pair of shoes but I came out with shoes for me and my mom, a pair of socks, and some shoe protection/cleaner, I think it was called creep or crept (I can't remember.). “Stopped in for a reliable pair of work boots, I keep running through em like nothing else. Jeriel greeted me as soon as I came in and was very welcoming straight off the bat. Helped me figure out my exact size, how I walk, and which boots are best recommended for my gait. Being that I’m on my feet 8+ hours a day and working with brick and block, this along with waterproofing is very important. He even pointed out that the pair I initially was looking at wasn’t waterproof but made additional recommendations. Very much appreciated! Fantastic service!”

“This place was PACKED for Black Friday and I needed some help as I was shopping for my sisters Christmas gift. The sales team was really helpful, which I appreciated seeing as I had a lot of questions and they were busy. Anyway, I felt like a fish out of water as a guy in this store, and the entire team made me feel at home. They had a few Black Friday specials that they did a good job of promoting! I noticed a previous review about being discouraged with the level of customer service when the manager interjected to promote a deal/sale to the customer...That's odd, right? Wouldn't you be more annoyed if you got home and realized the promotion wasn't offered to you? Anyway, as a retail employee, I know it's tough to win on a day like Black Friday. And this team was busy and crushing it! I was also able to get the dinnerware set that my sister wanted for her holiday party in a few weeks! Great experience all around!”
