I came across a 2013 Camaro on Carfax. So I went to Heritage to purchase it. It had been sitting there for 5 months, unwashed. The oil was filthy and hadn’t been changed. The inside windows were all filthy. The drivers side seat belt has a cut out of it and I don’t even know how it passed inspection. The tires were horrible. The front tires were so bad, the steering wheel was vibrating. I did get them to put in writing they would balance them. They were so bad that they couldn’t be balanced though. They replaced them with used tires and one has been leaking the whole time. It has sidewall damage and can’t be repaired. I had to replace the back ones immediately. I have never purchased a car from a dealership that didn’t at least have the car cleaned and serviced. And this is a decent car otherwise. I feel like I rescued this car from certain death. I’m glad I purchased the extended warranty, though we’ll see how glad I am when I go to use it.
Update: After reviewing my receipt, I realized I paid over $700 in fees to this dealership for their poor service and a registration printed on the thinnest paper I’ve ever seen. They also charged me $100 more for the extended warranty than the other paperwork says.
