“Went into the shop at 9:45 a.m. last Monday for a last minute break check before a road trip to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving. The guys were able to see my car 15 or 20 minutes after I got there. They checked my tires and brakes and replaced my front brakes and rotors for a fair price. Service was done by 2 p.m. and I was able to pick it up on a work break. “Making moves (aka Dad errands) in VB left me parched beyond belief. Thankfully, this 7-11 was situated just before the i-64 on ramp, thus earning its designation as a "convenience store." Lots of exterior space in private lot with gas pumps, good signage, air pump, trash cans and windshield wash stations. Inside mimicked other 7-11's familiar Big Bite aroma and layout, though did seem a tad more spacious and better lit. Most items were pretty well stocked, especially beverages and accompanying accoutrements (cream, sugar, stirrers, ice, cups, etc). Stations were fairly clean. They do charge for ice/water from the fountain even with other purchases. Good news is it counts towards your free beverage rewards if you use the 7-11 app.”

I went to the deli department and these two ladies were very helpful and gave good customer service. Also, Nathan saw me struggling to lift a case of water and he was nice enough to ask if I needed assistance. He also explained that Krogers will be getting scanners soon. The store was very stocked and had good sales.”

“Shipps Corner Service Center is located at the corner of Shipps Corner Rd. and Holland Rd. They also have a 76 gas station, so you can easily find them by seeing the 76. I have been here several times with a few cars. The most recent visit here was on October 2, 2023. I have been past this place countless times, but had never come in here until recently. In June, Mark Hopkins from this business was going house to house to sell VIP Customer Care Cards for $130. After looking over what it has to offer, I decided to get it. It is good for any car and does not expire. A few months later on August 23, 2023, I came in for my first service to use the VIP card. When I came for the first time, parking is extremely limited. I ended up parking over at the end of the Food Lion parking lot. The reason for this visit was to have a full synthetic oil and filter change. This was completely covered by the VIP card. The check in process was pretty easy inside. They had my appointment already, and all I needed to give them was the VIP card. Once the work was done, I would get that card back. Within two hours, they were already done and my car was ready for pick up. The pick up process was easy too. Everything went well on this visit. The only thing they forgot to do was reset the change oil notification in the car, but I got that reset, so all good. My most recent visit here was to bring my mom's car here for service. She needed an oil change (regular) and a state inspection. Both of these services were covered under the VIP card. The process was similar to the first one, and they were done within a few hours too. At this point, the VIP card has already paid for itself and then some. Overall, the service and experience here have been excellent. One thing that was really nice is that they don't try to push you to get additional products and services when the car is looked at. They are very honest and up front about what needs to be done and what is optional. You don't see that too much these days. If you're looking for a place to have your car taken care of that isn't a dealership, this place is worth checking out. “I love NEX Mini Marts. They're like small Walmart gas stations with a little bit of everything. You can literally find items for a uniform inspection you forgot while grabbing gas, lunch, and some oil for the car! Gas prices are always fair and staff inside are friendly. Easy and convenient on base. Lines tend to get long in the AM if everyone is grabbing breakfast and snacks for the day so I avoid that time and come during off times for gas or other snacks.”

“These stars are directed towards the bakery department.(I think, from what I saw on her name tag) Kira, who might have been the bakery department manager was so kind, helpful, compassionate and accommodating. I noticed all the 30 count cupcakes were all white icing with light sprinkles and was hoping for more colorful options like they typically offer. She explained the current available in store options (not special ordered) and most likely saw the huge disappointment on my face. She offered to decorate a set with color, which was done expeditiously. I was absolutely thrilled and touched that she took the time to accommodate me, which was not demanded nor expected. She saw the opportunity to brighten a customer's day and she most definitely did! Kira, is an individual that a business should be very proud and honored to have. She exemplifies how excellent customer service should look. She listened, explained, understood me and made me feel seen and valued as a customer. I truly do appreciate her kindness and time and am very thankful & grateful. :-)Her willingness to help did not go unnoticed. For future reference, I now know to special order if I have my heart set on something colorful, rather than take a risk of possible disappointment. ;-)”

“This place is decent and easy to get in and out of off London Bridge Rd. It's not very big inside but it has all the standard gas station fare you need like drinks and snacks and slushies. It's not fancy inside - but outside the pumps are nice and new and updated. They have BP rewards here for points and rewards with gas purchases and you can download an app where it syncs to your phone and phone number. They also accept Harris Teeter rewards for up to 0.20$ off the price per gallon which is fabulous for me on my way home from work. Fast, easy, rewards. I'm a fan!”
