Melissa Brit Forbes is amazing person. We came here last week on Friday at 4.50 pm and she was kind and fast enough to get all the things done. Also, she is very responsive in any inquiries we have. Highly appreciated her service. Bank of America should be glad to have her. Kind and passionate for her work.

Please note that I don't have a particular problem with a branch of BOA, but I do have a problem with BOA mobile app banking in general. The drop-down doesn't give you a general choice. So, I've been with BOA for years, but it's high time I found another bank after this. I started a new job in September. I finally got my first paycheck on the 22nd, a live check because direct deposit hadn't gone through. I deposited my payroll through the online banking app a little after 2 pm. I get a message saying my funds wouldn't be available until the 28th, 6 days later! I thought this couldn't be right. I've never waited 6 days for a payroll check to clear my account even when I had absolutely nothing in. The bank my job used is local so what's the problem? The most I've ever waited for a check to clear was 2, maybe 3 days, so what's the problem? So I called customer service after and asked them why it would take 6 days to clear a check? I got a response about they have to go through protocol, federal guidelines of verification, etc. I asked the man, "How long does it take to pick up the phone and call my employer to verify a payroll check? Not 6 days?!" Then he proceeds to tell me that there was nothing he can do about it. In the meantime, my bills need to be paid with over $1600 in the bank that I can't touch!!!!!!!!!???Bank of America has never disappointed me in all the years I've been a customer, but this right here may be a deal breaker for me if I don't get access to my money sooner than the 28th that was hard earned. To wait 6 days for a payroll check when I'm now in a financial crisis is cruel and unacceptable. Do better!!!!!!!!??????

Convenient as far as locations but always a super long line and takes forever and the customer service is HORRIBLE. One bank teller is always so snooty and brushes you off. I literally opened an account with another bank so I don’t have to deal with boa

I called up to the place of business for a simple question and the black lady, who answered the phone, didn’t know the answer and then hung up on me. I called her five times and she ignored. I called from a local number and she picked up. I did explain that I was on hold for a question about notarizations. When I called from local number, she answered, and I explain to her again what she did was wrong and ask for her name she would not give me her name. The call took place around 10:40 AM so if corporate can see this, please check her phone call. I am ready to close my account from over 20 years, she is ignorant and uninformed. She does not need to work in a place that deals with notary money, money, and money. She needs to go work at McDonald’s up the street where they are rude and only count registers. Clearly she only answers the phone because she’s the only person who answers the phone and then she answers the phone in third person, as if that was not just her answering the phone you all have a complete nutcase working at that facility who doesn’t know how to Cascade normal referrals for loyal customers ..get rid of that black lady that answered the phone because a lot of us are not going to like calling or coming up there and probably take all of our money out. I did ask her name several times while being recorded I told her you are on your own recorded line, she did not disclose her name. If y’all know, like I know, she most likely is the only black lady in there because she’s the only one not busy. She said everyone was busy, but her so clearly answering questions and finding information is not her strong suit. She Has to be the host no way in the world. She is a banker at Bank of America. I hope and pray she is not in charge of peoples mortgages car notes bank Accounts, savings, IRA deposit boxes she needs to leave. She is very unprofessional and she is most likely the reason y’all have one star get it together Bank of America and the lady that’s at the host and only answers the phone. Your phone picker upper

Cannot make a cash deposit at the outside atm inspite of reporting the issue several times. BOA has given up any pretense of good customer service.

Not helpful. I am constantly told I need to take care of things online when I go into the branch to handle problems on my account. The wait times have been steadily getting longer. I have been with Bank of American for over 30 years and am finally making the move to another bank. The decline of Bank of American was happing long before COVID and have been worsen by the pandemic but are in not wise resulting from the pandemic.

I've been a customer for 19 years and it's always frustrating (at this location) where I can never deposit money in the ATM. I work during their operating hours, so I can't come in to the teller. But it's the same thing EVERY TIME I COME TO THE ATM. It's frustrating and inconvenient.

new retired residents. Drove to this bank to inquire about opening an account and long line outside. Doors not open and it was after 10. Folks were getting upset and saying how lousy this bank was, etc. Man at the front must have been on telephone with someone inside. He announced they weren't going to open the door? Why would anyone bank here. Went down the road to a real service bank.

This branch has very friendly staff, but there are not enough of them…and it’s getting worse. I have to cash a change order check every week, so it means standing in line with the one teller working. Can’t use the ATM because it is a change order for my work. Sometimes it only takes 5 minutes, but at least once a month it takes over 30 minutes standing in line waiting for a single teller to get through the line.

They have Poor customer service everything I go in, not at all like the Portsmouth branches. They almost never have appointments, and I was given a 2 hour window to be seen which helped me with making my mind up on closing my account. This branch was once the only one I would go to because of its strong customer service, and over the past few years you will notice how they treat people. I am not impressed at all with how it has declined.

Most ghetto bank I've ever been inside. They couldn't cash a 4700 check because they did not have the supporting funds to cover it.... unbelievable.
