This is a fairly new store and location. This store is filled with a wide array of clothing, house wares, and home decor. You can find something there for your 4 legged family members. Also, note that the associates are exceptional. This Marshalls is my first choice of all Marshall's.Enjoy!

I am a regular customer at this Sterling store, I used to be a frequent customer as well at their previous location. I read unpleasant comments about one of the managers, her name is Natalya. She is fairly new in this store and new to the business overall, but from my experience as a frequent customer.. she has always been doing her best to ensure customers and workers alike have a simple and efficient time at the store. Unfortunately, a lot of customers make returns that don’t belong to this original store. As merchandise manager - she knows all of her items and goods. At times, she has to reject items that don’t originally come from the company’s warehouse. This unfortunately makes people upset, and makes them write unpleasant comments which I heavily disagree with. I recall being a witness to an event one day at the store as for where a woman tried to return a clothing item that originally came from Walmart, as for where a Walmart tag was found. I believe this is a more unpleasant part of her work experience, and I believe we as customers can make it better. It is very unfortunate to see customers losing their humanity over $10-$15, I believe not only can we make this a better place for her but for all of the workers in general. This is one of the best Marshall’s I’ve ever been to, and the store has always been attended to in the most important ways, it is always clean, there are several workers happy to help you at any moment, and the deals they have are simply unbeatable. I can’t express my gratitude enough to Marshall’s, and I appreciate all of their hard work and the responsibilities they carry on their back. Thank you Marshall’s!

I recently had an unpleasant experience during my visit to the Marshall Store at Dulles Town Crossing in Sterling, VA (Zip Code: 20166). Having purchased items on 12/22/2023 and attempting to return a few unused items within the stipulated 30-day return period, I encountered an unexpected hurdle.While the store honored some returns, they flatly refused to accept a return for a $5.99 unused(still packed in original box) Christmas merchandise item, citing a policy that seemed obscure and uncommunicated. Despite my insistence and requests for clarification, both the employee and store manager engaged in argumentation rather than providing a clear explanation.The contention revolved around a policy that allegedly restricts returns for Christmas merchandise even within the 30-day window. However, this policy was neither mentioned on the receipt nor available on the store's online returns policy. This lack of transparency left me frustrated and questioning the integrity of the store's practices.The store manager's insistence on enforcing an unwritten policy, coupled with the refusal to accept a minimal return, reflects poorly on Marshalls' commitment to customer satisfaction. It raises concerns about the need for improved communication of policies and better training for staff in handling customer interactions.I believe that Marshalls should take disciplinary action against such managerial behavior and invest in educating their staff on respecting company policies while providing excellent customer service. Instances like these not only tarnish the store's reputation but also discourage customer loyalty.The suggestion to contact customer service for resolution added another layer of frustration, as it highlighted a lack of cohesion between in-store policies and the broader customer service framework. A seamless customer experience requires consistency across all touchpoints, which, unfortunately, was lacking in this instance.In conclusion, this disappointing encounter has left me reconsidering future purchases from Marshalls. A more customer-centric approach, clear communication of policies, and improved training for staff are essential for any retail establishment aiming to build and maintain customer trust.BEWARE OF BUYING FROM MARSHALLS.

As soon as I walked through the door, theft alarms beeped to, i guess, notify the employees that people walked in. It happened several times, every single time someone came in. It is EXTREMELY unwelcoming and I don’t think I will be returning. Something also smelt like it was burning. There was also broken glass where toddlers can reach

Marshalls + tjmaxx needs to stop letting employees put hello Kitty items on hold or take them for themselves when others try to come in and find themselves it’s completely unfair & ridiculous when customers like me come in regularly to just take at least of the hello Kitty items this is getting out of hand the lady with the ginger hair last name Gomez who works at the sterling marshals is reselling them for $40+ over the retail price. They only get jobs there for the hello Kitty items. No wonder why I can’t find at least 1 blanket.

Unlike some of the other reviewers, I had a very positive experience and found lots of gift items. Since it’s a newer store, it seemed like there was more merchandise than other Marshalls. Name brand items for a lot less than department stores. Marshalls also has an online store.I was returning a defective item, and the manager almost didn’t accept the item. She said you have to return defective items at the store you bought it at. I had bought it at another Marshalls store. I don’t agree with that policy if there is one. What if you bought it on a vacation or something and didn’t notice the defect?I tried to take lots of photos. I was so happy about the bathroom. I know it’s weird, but as seen in my other reviews, a nice bathroom is important to me. It’s a new bathroom and is neutral and more modern than some of the older stores. See photos.Marshalls is like a mini department store. They have just about everything but on a smaller scale.I love the home goods section and Women’s and Men’s clothing. I bought items in all 3 departments on this trip. As well as Crocs clogs. They were $19.99! I got a set of two Ugg pillows for $24.99 :)There is one close up photo of a trashcan to show pricing. Marshalls has great prices all around.I’m glad I had a satisfying experience at this store. I’ll make sure to update this review if anything changes on future visits.Now, especially with online reviews, management needs to pay attention to the negative reviews and make some changes, if needed. Customer satisfaction is very important.The dressing rooms are really nice, too, love them. Spacious and neutral colors.This store is in a great location with T.J. Maxx very close by and Dulles Town Center across the highway.
