RacistArrived to pick up an order at Joann Fabrics, Barbra who approached to help us, was not only disrespectful but also racist from the min we walked in! We encountered difficulty when my children needed to use the restroom. Despite there still being three minutes left until closing time, we were asked to leave. This abrupt and unwelcoming treatment left us feeling rushed and frustrated. Customer service should extend to accommodating basic needs, especially when there's time remaining before closing. My kids felt unwelcome and uncomfortable! Never shopping at Joann’s again, thanks for Barbra!

This branch doesn't do the end-of-bolt discount anymore! I needed 4.5 yards of fabric and I was happy to find a bolt with exactly 4.5 yards left, because the last half yard is usually 75% off, but when I asked the fabric cutter for the discount, he said that the manager made a new policy to NOT honor that discount if the customer is already committed to buying the whole thing. I asked him if he could just pretend he didn't hear me say 4.5 yards. He wouldn't do it.Worst branch ever. Go to the Fairfax one instead if you can.

Hassle free return policy is a joke ! George the “store manager “ wouldn’t help me return an item that I purchased from them days prior. Had receipt ready. Gave me attitude prior to opening my bag , then says he can’t accept it because the clear plastic was ripped and couldn’t “accept it”. I said why , it says nothing in the company policy about that otherwise it’s would’ve tried returning it. Still giving me attitude and walks away and tells his day-cashier not to help me! I didn’t leave until I read the company policy and the day staff cashier still being unprofessional to me and says to leave ! This is very unprofessional and unacceptable!

Update your hours online when you change them. I drove an hour round trip and arrived 4 hours before the listed closing time, the store was closed when i got there with a note saying sorry for the inconvenience. Were you really sorry? You being closed is only inconvenient when i find out about it after driving there during your listed hours online.

I love this Joann but hate these roller coaster hours. Please, if you're reading this Joann manager, UPDATE YOUR HOURS ON GOOGLE if you're going to close at 5pm. I can't be working all day, checking your hours, then driving the 20 minutes out to find out you're closed and the new hours are posted on the door. That doesn't allow me to spend wayyy too much money on your craft supplies. Guess I'm headed to Michaels.

The hours posted on google is incorrect. The store hours suggest they are open till 9 pm on weekdays. This is 2 times in a row I went to 2 different location and they are closed before 6. There is a sign posted outside “Due to unforeseen reasons we are closing early’”. They should update the store hours so people don’t drive so far

Attention Drivers. If you have to do a delivery here at Joann's, Falls Church, VA, when you are on RT 7 before the Wendy's turn right, and then turn left after passing the Wendy's, you should be in the parking lot facing a Red Robins. Joann's is on the right in that little strip mall next to UPS and Michael's, depending on your delivery time, line your trailer up to the front entrance of the store, see the receiver and they will start unloading the merchandise. 638 pieces, I was done in 2.5 hours. They offload your trailer by hand.

Came here to look for filling to refill a well-loved stuffed animal. Found the right thing and there was a good coupon online also. Only negative was there was a big line at checkout. Money saved with the coupon was then wasted by standing in line. But that said, really cool that there is still a physical store that sells this stuff.

This store is the best Joann’s I’ve ever been to. Clean, organized and well-stocked. You can actually shop here and discover things you were looking for !They do seem a bit short-staffed for a store of that size though, but I found staff to be helpful nonetheless.

I love the new location — much bigger than their former spot and it’s pretty spacious I needed extra fabric for an upcoming wedding and their staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The fabric selection is terrible, especially if you are looking for fashion fabrics. The styles aren't current, the quality is low, and the aisles are messy.

I waited in this store for 10 minutes and no staff came to help me solve the problem I encountered. The girl who charged at the front desk also said that she couldn't understand my English. I was very angry and depressed.......

JoAnn has really gone downhill. While the employees are friendly and helpful, even they complain about the lack of items, the poor quality of the cloth, and the ridiculous way things are spread all around the store. An associate searched for 15 minutes for yarn that was in stock to no avail. It didn't help that the yarn is located in at least 10 different areas throughout the store. The pattern I was looking for in the sewing department was not in stock and the material I purchased was not squared before cutting which I did not notice until I was home.
