Eddie Greenan's top priority is customer satisfaction. This is an honest, family run business led by a jeweler with integrity and knowledge. Look no further for the best jeweler.

In times past, I shopped many jewelry stores. Over the years, I found that I was again and again returning to Eddie Greenan Jewelers (Springfield Plaza Shopping Center) who, simply, always had what I wanted at a price I considered "best value." Although I still shop many places, I buy at Eddie Greenan Jewelers. For special events, I've commissioned the creation of several custom pieces (including a one-of-a-kind 50th wedding anniversary ring). Given time, miracles of bejeweled art can be created (it in a hurry, an outstanding selection of all types of jewelry) is readily available.

They're a very caring and sweet jewelry store I believe it's family run and they're honestly amazing. I've never bought real jewelry from a jeweler before but the process was easy and they have beautiful and delicate pieces! I bought a gold ring with emeralds and diamonds and unfortunately one of the emeralds fell out very quickly after leaving the store but I called back and they were able to fix it for me very quickly and no charge, they really care about their customers I recommend so much thank you guys!! I also have a necklace from here, it was a gift and it was a flower made of rubies I wear it everyday and I love it!

Eddie and his family helped my fiancé and I choose and design the most perfect ring. We are thrilled with the service and quality of stone as well as setting. During the process, we also had several pieces of family Heirloom jewelry repaired. We can't wait to come back in soon for wedding bands! Thank you Eddie!!

Let me explain why one should never walk through the doors of this business. As a business owner, I pride myself in customer service. That's more important now than it ever has been/should be. I went in last weekend with my sister and nephew and we wait for about 10 minutes as no one ever greeted us or acknowledged we were there. A gentlemen eventually wandered over and said they would be with us shortly. Totally fine as I know they were helping other customers. We get to the counter to talk about options about my nephews ring that was made there which included a stone that was passed down from my grandmother. A. Never have a stone set in silver (lesson learned, totally fine. B. We get to the counter to deal with Vicki's nasty attitude to then tell us she would offer a refund for the ring when indeed, I was willing to pay for the stone to be set in platinum or white gold for my nephew. As she wasn't willing to discuss options and willing to offer a refund instead of offering other options that we were asking for, she lost out on about $3,500 I was willing to spend for the ring to be done right. C. The ring was a bit small for my nephews finger and was scratching his hand and I asked her to put it on the sizer. As she did, the stone pops out. So, cool. You offer the refund. I proceeded to ask when the refund would be processed and she said it would be CREDITED back to the same card that was given at the time of purchase. But, ONLY Eddie could do this 3 business days later. No big deal. She then emails my sister with an option to write a personal check from the business? This is 2021. What entity in a professional setting issues a personal check from a business as a refund when that wasn't the form of payment that was given at the time of checkout? Then, I had a gold chain that needed to be looked at and I wanted her to verify that the clasp was ok. She then tells me to use tweezers to tighten the clasp and the piece of gold that was sticking out of the chain, she explains using toe nail clippers or wire cutters would help? In a world full of uncertainty and where I could go to ANY BUSINESS OF MY LIKING, ESPECIALLY A JEWELER, wouldn't you think she would give me recommendations as to how it could be fixed THE RIGHT WAY? So, in a nutshell, this place is a joke. My grandmother spent over $35,000 with this place including a $10,000 wedding ring. I will NEVER step back into any Greenans establishment. The worst part of it all is, Vicki is one of the owners? What a joke. BEWARE!

UPDATE : a week later I have emailed 3 times regarding status of my refund. Still no check & no tracking info or communication. Additionally I said I would Come in the store to retrieve my money last Saturday and I was told I'm not welcome in the store . I've been more than patient. I should've received my money back the day I came in .. now we are going into two weeks since that visit I recently went to Greenan's to have a stone placed in a ring for my son . This stone was given to me by my grandmother who suddenly passed a few months ago. I explained i A metal preferably something strong and a quality because my son is 15 years old and I want this ring to be a family heirloom. It took a little while for them to get back to me with a quote and with options for having the stones that in the rain. Fine no big deal. My grandmother patronize this jeweler for over 36 years I decided to go here Soley based upon honoring her. The ring was made. I picked up ( friendly experience) i felt okay with the ring, it was given to my son for Xmas . Again very sentimental. My son wore the ring for one day while in NYC doing his first music video , i do not let him even hold on to it longer bc of its sentimental value. He complained it felt tight and that the stone was scratching his finger . There was no type of barrier bertwen the stone and his finger. After having my brother check the ring out we decided #1 the quality of metal was extremely poor it felt like a ring from a bubblegum machine , light and bendable, also that the stone needed a barrier to not scratch his finger or wear on the stone itself . Fast forward 2 weeks later , my brother my son and myself go to Greenan's to see if we can make these adjustments . We enter , no hello, a lady and man are dealing with other customers - cool. We just hang around then finally a lady by the name of Vickie helps us. I explain to her my concerns as listed above and just let her know we'd like a diff material ring and barrier. She over talks us both several Times, says " I'm just going to give you a refund and that's it" I'm kind of caught of guard at this point 1 bc i never asked for a refund that was never my intention- i wanted the problems fixed so my son can have his gift... she keeps insisting on refund end tells me i won't get it till 5 days later on my card. So i say ummm okay that's fine but I wanted to see what we can do to fix it can you show me options of other metals ? She avoided my request / simply acted like she didn't want our business and we were a bother. I remained respectful even with her terrible attitude and customer service . At one point she even measure the ring upon my request and said it's a 7 ! But i ordered an 8! Which would explain why my son was having such trouble removing it ! I won't even get into the snooty attitude she had when I mentioned my grandmother ( whom every single Person that works there adored) she's just rude ! She agreed after i kept pressing for more options to send me an email with options and to help me after I had to say you are the professional not me clearly i didn't pick the first metal that well could you please assist me after you email the options. I almost forgot ! As she was measuring the size of the ring!!! The stone popped out!!!! She didn't even act surprised! Imagine had that stone popper out with my son wearing it! The ring had only been worn once! Fast forward she sends me an email 5 days later saying where can she mail my check ( you said you were going to put it on my card) I email back my distaste with the service . I'll leave pictures below. Her response absolutely the rudest most terrible customer service I've ever experienced in My life! I will not be returning ever! Not to mention she told my brother to use toe nail clippers to clip a lose part on his chain he brought to them to fix ! Again she made it very awkward and uncomfortable! They clearly don't seem like they want business in the end they clearly

So I came in last week with my ring while they had 2-3 other customers present SO NICE & FRIENDLY .....this ring has been in my family for sometime now I had shown a women my ring she had then called Eddie to give it a better look Eddie came over very friendly, looked at it first & said I can grind you're gold to fix it (I'm losing gold that way) I said no I wanted a new bezel and a fixed cathedral shank-rounded but no grinding my gold at all so I told him don't grind but he did anyway(frustrated) when the deal was finalized I was told I would be given a DISCOUNT and to come pick up the ring on 06/17/2020 the day Eddie is there so I can get my DISCOUNT being as I'm a college student and all ..so Fast forward to 6/17/2020 I came to pick up the ring "no hey hello how are you today" no smile on his face(I thought okay maybe...just a rainy and moody day) so I come and start looking at my ring I notice more than a couple of errors and start to talk about it to Eddie & he completely ignores what I'm saying and is talking about polishing the gold ...whatttt!!! SO THEN I POINT OUT AGAIN the issues with the ring He (Eddie) starts telling me how they were dents in my ring and he fixed them like Okay thanks for that I DIDN'T EVEN ASK OR PAY FOR THAT I started to get worried as it is a family ring and he kept ignoring what my issues were ...I'm asking and talking to him he keeps trying to change the subject is it because I'm young you treated me in such disrespectful manner ??? Then I asked about the DISCOUNT I was promised when surrounded by so many other customer AGAIN SUBJECT CHANGED this time his JAW DROPPED and he turned RED and then charged me $250 FLAT ..last thing I asked was "what about warranty" he said 6 months from his mouth and when asked about in paper or writing I was DENIED ...at this point I was honestly SCARED and felt manipulated and left in a HURRY ...I wrote this after telling my family, peers and community what had happened to me .....I'm a local of Springfield & I have also posted this on "next door neighbor"this guy(Eddie) is a modern day MOBSTER ..I'm still shaking while reading this

I first visited Eddie Green in November-- my family heirloom ring bent at work and needed to be repaired. I was immediately seen, given a quote and they did the repair quickly (a few days). When I got the ring back I noticed intricate detailing had been polished off or recovered by a metal bond. I excused this because I'm not a jeweler and assumed that needed to happen for the repair. The ring then turned my finger green. I called and they were polite--immediately fixed it. I adore this family heirloom and was pleased with the attempt to right a wrong. Sadly, the ring almost immediately bent again. I did not notify them because overall the customer service seems great but is just lip service and the workmanship is very poor.

Very friendly, high-quality service. No job seems too small for Eddie's. They quickly swapped out the batteries of two of our watches and cleaned them up at reasonable prices, and now we have reliable watches we can keep wearing for a few more years. Plus they're welcoming to all who come to their business and they're active in the community. We will come back again, and tell our friends and neighbors about Eddie's when they need a good jeweler.

Eddie and his wife were very helpful when i was engagement ring shopping. From the beginning of the process till the end, Eddie always had excellent customer service and my best interest in mind. I never felt pressured to buy or do anything that i was uncomfortable with. Outstanding customer service and made what would be a difficult experience very effortless.

Eddie is our new dedicated jeweler. He's fixed an other jeweler poorly designed custom jewelry making it into a new beautiful piece my wife wears every day! He's helped us with a new engagement ring that had a loose expensive diamond. Eddie and his wife are very honest and reliable. As said, we will be going back for all our jewelry needs in the future and recommend them to our friends!

I own an expensive Omega watch and had the battery replacement done several times by John Greenan Jewelers, a very knowledgeable jeweler, but they have since closed the Springfield location. I took it in to this jewelry store to have a new battery installed. After Jeff installed the new battery, he told me that he couldn't get the back of the watch on because the gasket somehow had gotten damaged. He offered to have his "watchmaker" take the watch and replace the gasket but it would take about two weeks and cost $30. I said fine and left the watch. After three weeks I made several calls to check on the status. I finally got a call and was told the watch was ready for pickup. I picked up the watch and after about an hour I noticed that it had stopped running. I took the watch back in and Jeff told me he would give it back to his "watchmaker" to have him look at it and get an estimate for repair. During my visits there, I got the impression that this is nothing more than a store that sells jewelry. I took the the watch to Time Square in Springfield, a real watch repair facility. Hadj, the owner examined it and said that in his estimation the gasket had not been replaced as it showed much wear. He cleaned the watch and replaced the gasket. It now works fine. I guess Greenan's would be an okay place to replace a battery in a cheap watch but not an Omega or Rolex.
