The foundational rifle course was very eye opening and immersive. I brought my dad to take this course with me and the knowledge transfer from start to finish was remarkable. Our instructor, Scott, challenged us mentally and pushed us to excel at the basics and propelled us to be as proficient as possible during our day of training. I will definitely be back and I recommend this training group for anyone across any and every spectrum of firearms experience. This is a solid group folks that want you to excel and will put you to the test in order to achieve your goals (whatever they may be).

The instructors are top-notch. I completed their Intermediate pistol/rifle training, and I 100% recommend them. I will also be attending the advanced course. They teach at all levels, from beginner to advanced. The drills are easy to understand but fundamentally challenging. If you have the time and cash, I encourage you to train.

Took the fundamentals (basic) pistol class with Scott and it was flawless in my opinion. His way of teaching, explaining, and constantly offering feedback was not at all intimidating, it was clear and his attentiveness made it feel like a safe environment for learning. The exercises/lessons and the amount of time spent on each (even breaks in the shade) seemed spot on and made for a comprehensive day where I learned and progressed so much in confidence and skills. Absolutely signing up for another class with Loudoun Tactical!

Trained with Scott and Frank, and had an absolute blast (pun intended).
Highlights and notes:
- excellent pacing and smaller classes make it easy for people of all experience levels to have a good time.
- instructors are very nice and helpful, providing constructive feedback on body position, trigger work, movement, staying relaxed, etc.
- the range is not covered, so sunscreen is recommended, and you'll have to help clean up brass afterwards, so I'd suggest bringing gloves as well.
- Water is provided, but pack extra drinks for hotter days. You'll be shooting outdoors for 6hrs straight with minimal breaks, so be sure to fuel up appropriately with a BYO lunch and snacks as needed.
In summary: if you're looking to take your shooting skills to the next level, I highly recommend these guys - I had an excellent time and will definitely be back!

I took the foundational pistol course with Scott from Loudoun Tactical and was blown away. I learned more in that 6 hour class than I had learned in the past several years of shooting. The class started off with zeroing, building your grip from the draw, and sight alignment, then moved on to clearing malfunctions, shooting on the move, and a ton of drills. We then ended with a little friendly competition on the steel plates.Scott was awesome and gave plenty of one on one instruction. I’m looking forward to taking another class.I’m bad at remembering to leave reviews, so the fact that I was able to finally get around to leaving one for the guys at Loudoun Tactical is noteworthy.

I’ve taken three courses with the team at Loudoun Tactical so far, and I’ll be coming back for more in 2024.They have a fantastic teaching method - assessing every attendee for their skill level (perceived and actual) at the beginning of the training, then curating the course to provide value for everyone. I’m amazed at how Andy and Scott can help the most advanced shooters dial in their groupings and lock in consistent shots, while patiently reinforcing the fundamentals over and over for the less proficient attendees like me (that’s why I’m here!).I’ve learned so much from them in the foundational rifle, intermediate concealed carry, and night ops courses, and their repeat customers (including the awesome Chef Chaz) have been a big part of my development as a shooter with their pointers and lessons learned.I can’t recommend this group enough for anyone hoping to benefit from their advanced knowledge, practical application of skills, focus on fundamentals, and genuine desire to see improvement in their students.

Took the Foundational Pistol & Rifle Course this weekend. Can’t say enough about Loudoun Tactical and Scott. He has a way of ensuring you digest what is being taught in the a positive and humorous way while getting across not only safety but very important and imperative subject matter.Felt Scott's enthusiasm for firearms training is just as important as his passion for being a motivational, positive and an engaging coach. I also can’t thank enough for meeting and participating group of awesome classmates and especially the co-instructors who I am grateful they shared their experience, skill and knowledge as well. Really stress accountability and encouragement with a "it takes a village" vibe. Had a lot of fun despite being gravity challenged towards the end. Good stuff all around will try to take more courses in the future.

I attended Loudoun Tactical’s Foundational Development – Rifle training this past weekend (12 November 2023) at the Shadow Hawk Defense range complex. Scott was a great instructor who knows what he’s talking about. Plenty of drills and reps at various distances. Perfect confidence builder! I enjoyed the experience and will attend other training with Loudoun Tactical. Five Star training.

Hands down one of the best tactical training companies in NOVA. Extremely diverse group of instructors who pride themselves on working with all types of people. Young, old, civilian, military, police, men and women… all are welcome. If you seek the best, and want to push yourself to have that confidence required to do hard things under pressure, these are the guys to train with. Be humble and listen to the wisdom they offer and you’ll learn a ton.

I recently took Pistol 1 with Loudoun Tactical a few weeks ago and had an amazing time. Instructors clearly articulated themselves with clear sound instructions throughout the entire course. We warmed up and then worked on marksmanship drills before getting into more technical drills. Moving and shooting behind barriers and cover were great.
I can’t say enough good things about this experience. I definitely recommend Loudoun Tactical to ALL and plan to join more classes in the future.
PS… did I say I had an AMAZING time?!?!

I attended INTERMEDIATE — PISTOL / RIFLE June 10-11. I couldn't be happier with the course. The instructor was professional and kept safty his priority during all events. The course is structured, so previous drills or courses of fire build for the next. This course will make you a more mindful shooter. 80/20 rule 80 percent of your mind on the problem 20 percent on your weapon. This course is a great step in getting into that mindset if it is your goal. It will also help you make sure your kit is set up and you won't lose your mags and other gear the second you start running. Make sure your kits work before your life depends on it.

Just completed the Pistol foundation course with Scott, great teacher. I learned a lot, had a blast, and am definitely a better shooter now. I will be taking more courses in the future.
