“The perfect local market deli spot for fresh sandwiches, salads, and all the snacks. They also have a large selection of awesome beers and unique wines. Grab & go or relax inside or outside with the seating available - and you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer! “Really nice small, local grocery. They are like a local whole foods or foxtrot competitor but on a smaller level.They offer alot of trendy food items like high hydrogen water, lavendar popcorn (which was good), and much more.They also have a coffee bar and fresh food bar. I bought the chickpea chorizo which was super delicious but so small for the price. I wish they gave like a couple pieces of bread or toast or something. The bowl came with potato chunks, chickpea chorizo pieces (so flavorful), corn, the world's smallest egg, and arugula, and spices. So so good. Service was excellent too. And they gave dining space inside and out as well as plugs and wifi.Highly highly recommend!”

“I was looking for some fashion and coffee table-type magazines in foreign languages for a work-related event, and wasn’t able to find them anywhere, until someone recommended I check out The Newsroom on Connecticut Ave NW in DuPont Circle. It was great! I bought 3 Vogues (French, German, and Italian), a People magazine (Spanish), and a few other fashion magazines. These will be great for our office’s fun activities related to learning/studying foreign languages. The owners were super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!”

“The store clerk Anand was super vigilant. I dropped my wallet and drove off, someone went to steal it, and he had them bring it for safe keeping into the store. Only my cash was stolen by the guy, but all the important cards and ID were there. Anand is so nice!”

“This hole-in-the-wall market is nearby and carries most things. The cashier (store owner?) is always so nice and helpful. Last time I was here, I grabbed a single corndog, a mini bottle of wine, and a bag of chips. Totaled about $11. Love this place. Oh, and if you’re into beer and wine, this place has plenty of it!”
“I am just reviewing the food. It was really nice. The servers don't really speak English but I was able to point and gesticulate what I thought looked nice. The shrimp in the creamy soup was delicious and so was the rice and plantains. I went back twice. It was 16.25 for a very large serve of food. I had some leftover for dinner. “I've been here a couple times. It's a small place with great service. The deli is excellent. I recommend the Reuben with no modifications.On one occasion, my card was unexpectedly declined; the cashier was very gracious and took care of the next customer at the second register while I sorted out the issue, so I didn't suffer any further embarrassment OR hold up the line. I really appreciate that level of service.”

“No discount on car wash if you purchase gas. Not the most expensive gas in the area and not the cheapest for regular 87 octane. One plus is that it does have a 7-11. The car wash was decent but a bit overpriced for what it was. For automatic car washes, I'd give it a 6 out of 10 since it got most of the dust off but really struggled getting the front of the car clean near the headlights. As far as the hood and sides it did an ok job. Deluxe car wash was the cheapest at $11. Also this is NOT a touch free car wash, so beware if you have paint you really care about but for older cars this was fine.”

“The SUV detailing was exceptional. The interior had a lot of dog hair which was removed. The only complaint I had was lack of communication. When I registered online, the intake did not request for model or color of vehicle. I was given a time slot but nothing else. Though it was 8 am Sunday morning, the place was already quite busy; it was not clear where to park or even who to talk to and hand over my keys. I received no ready-call but when I called around 2 PM to check, I was fussed at by the contact person for not being available. I had received NO call. As soon as I hung up, THEN I was called by the detailer and informed my vehicle was ready. Why the long story? This is not a cheap detail. Though it was quite good work, the service must go hand in hand with the cost of the vehicle detail. I feel sorry for the detailers. There are few and they work quite hard.”

“Asked the mechanic to look at a noise my car was making. He told me the problem and quoted a price. Aki (the mechanic) was amazing, he showed me the rusted piece on my car, the new pieces he was going to replace it with, and fit me in right away. The price he quoted was fair and exactly the ended outcome price.”
