Great location. Lawn care is definitely a priority. Loved the animal & character so inviting. Staff was available and friendly. All seemed to enjoy the golfing adults as well as kids. Everyone was so friendly. Very peacful sceneries. Restrooms available. I couldn't see how to turn on light in 1 of them but was well stocked & clean.

Will I EVER refer anyone to this place? Absolutely not. Terrible customer service.I called ahead to make sure it was ok I brought a group of 30 middle schoolers from my church, "no problem," I was told. I had exactly 30 kids show up and 10 adults to chaperone. The guy who was working YELLED at me for OTHER groups showing up without calling ahead, and us having "WAYYY MORE" than I called ahead for (which was untrue). He yelled at me, my kids, and my leaders and made the experience miserable. Mind you, he yelled at us for other groups we had absolutely no relationship with showing up. I was baffled. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because in spite of his miserable attitude my kids are still able to have fun with one another and brush off his bad day.If you are looking for any kind of decent customer service, don't go here. This was the evening of Wednesday July 5th if the owner would like to look up who was working.

Excellent driving range that has come back in top shape, from a number of years ago. Astroturf mats or (weather permitting) either side has natural grass tees. Top notch teaching staff too!

For those of us who are Richmond-natives, Patterson Golf Park (or Putt-A-Way as I believe it was called) brings back so many fond memories. My parents brought me here starting in the early 80's and I believe they've struck a good balance between keeping it updated while also preserving some of the nostalgia for us older folks. I took my daughter here this past Saturday and overall we had a great experience. We were on the east course and had a load of fun.Personally, this place will always be 5-stars in my heart, but I recognize many people who read this review will not have the same nostalgia that I do. If you come out, remember that this place has been open since the 50's and the various features of the miniature golf courses have a lot of years on them, even if they've had fresh paint. The turf was pretty worn in some spots and even showing signs of bunching up. When we went, our ball got stuck in the box for the 3rd hole. It was easy to recover, but these are the little things that are both part of the charm for me /and/ what might be off-putting to someone without the years of memories serving as a mental caddy.I really wish the website about section had some old photos.Overall, this is a fun and relatively cheap place to bring the kids on a pretty day for some miniature golf. If you keep the above in mind and possibly double-check to make sure they're open, you'll have a swell time.

I've come here multiple times over the years and was disappointed in the level of service received today. Sign posted outside the facility says open until 7pm "weather permitting", and as we all know this afternoon has been quite pleasant.I pulled up at 5 finishing a call and went to the window at 5:25 greeted by an uninterested attendant on his phone watching some video as he says, "We're closed for the night." I proceed to reference the sign that he says, "I don't know who put that out!" I'm thinking probably the owner as he goes on to say they close at 6. I tell him, "Its 5:25, I have 30 minutes." His response, "I already closed the register and as soon as these people leave I'm leaving."I wanted to share a few choice words with him and would have given him cash for a bucket, but thought not this guy. I seriously considered going out and grabbing 25 balls from the range.Just really poor advertising and customer service this trip. I'd like to share this with the owner who likely has no idea this is going on, or maybe he/she does??

Great Dad's day out for myself, by myself. 76 and sunny, with a cool breeze and plenty of swings. Patterson is a great atmosphere for the money, with friendly staff. I asked if he could use some help, because it's a great place to clear your mind. Oh yeah, and did I mention that they give you plenty of golf balls?

I drove 30 minutes with my family to play put-put and arrived at 5PM and they were closed. The hours on their website and Google are listed as 8PM.

My family and I played the mini golf course .We did have fun however it is a bit run down.Staff was friendlyNot at all what is advertised, you can tell it has seen it's share of mini golfers.On the plus side it was not overly crowded and very easy for ages 4+ to manage and keep attention.All and all it was fun but again a bit run down.They do have restrooms onsite.Parking lot availableThey are open until 8 p.m.
