I left my vest for dry cleaning and they destroyed the zipper. They are not professional at all and they didn’t want to pay for it. Really bad experience.

DO NOT GO HERE. I wish I could rate this place with zero stars. First, a shirt that was never worn had a stain on it. Then my wedding dress that was supposed to be cleaned had more stains than when I dropped it off. The owner was not accommodating at all and would not refund me. I would not recommend anyone go here. Terrible service.

While living in Carytown for more than 23 years, I enjoyed this particular local cleaners. I could even walk here from my former house. Bill’s Cleaners did a wonderful job of dry cleaning my jackets. The staff workers are very friendly here. Also, the owner has a great sense of humor, and her funny signs are placed strategically throughout the shop for customers to see!

I don't usually write reviews but this cleaners went above and beyond. I am new to the Richmond area and needed a dress cleaned in a rush. Not only was Bill's able to meet my time needs but were able to get out a stain that another cleaners wasn't. I will be returning with all my regular cleaning.

I have taken my dry cleaning to Bill’s Cleaners for years. The service and the people that provide it are top notch. I was especially impressed and touched though when I took my childhood Christmas stocking there for dry cleaning. I had not decorated in years and this year I unpacked it to find a serious dark stain at the bottom. I had evidently packed the stocking away years ago with a sweet still inside. The bottom of the stocking was an off white and the stain could not have been any more noticeable and distressing. My aunt had hand sewn the stocking for me 46 years ago when I was born. In fact, each of my four siblings received a matching stocking when they were babies as well. Each stocking has our names sewn at the top. To say the stocking held sentimental value for me is an understatement. When I brought the stocking in, the long-time worker there immediately called Bill to take a look at it. I told him about my stocking and what I had done, and Bill told me what he could do, along with the risks involved (i.e., the colors might run if he had to get it wet). I knew I could trust him with it. When I went to pick up the stocking, I was so pleased to see the results of his work. I could not even see the stain anymore; the bottom of the stocking was off-white again and the rest of the stocking was just as it had been, colors intact and even Santa’s white fuzzy beard was still fuzzy, like that of a cashmere sweater. When I told the long time employee how pleased I was with the results, she told me Bill had said to tell me he was sorry, that he did the best he could. I had to look REALLY closely to see that the stain was not all gone. It was so faint. I could not believe he thought it necessary to apologize. Thank you Bill and your staff for making childhood stocking look fantastic! You took care of something that means the world to me and I will never forget it! Merry Christmas!
