Rented 2 passenger vans. Vans were in great condition. Passengers were comfortable. Gerald the owner was great to work with and professional. Rental cost was very fair.

I enjoyed the van for our Christmas get away. Check in and check out was easy and smooth the guy was very helpful and easy to get along with. I appreciate his help and will rent again. Thanks

Showed up to pick up our car reserved for 10:30am and the attendant said “clearly there aren’t any cars out there. I don’t have any.” He didn’t offer a solution or alternative. He didn’t have an eta for when they were going to get a car and when I asked if he could give us a call when a car arrived, he said “if you don’t go far and the information in your reservation is right I’ll call you.”I called their customer service line and their systems were down so they couldn’t let me know if any other locations had a car readily available. and they didn’t have any direct phone numbers available to them at all! Worst experience ever!Will not be using Avis again.

Some screw ups in the system meant that there was no car ready for me, but the customer service rep, Gerald, was very helpful and got me on the road, in a different car, quickly.

This place is shady. I called on the day of pick up to see if we could pick up our car at a later time, and 2 things were weird: 1) the phone call sounded very far away and crackled like it was a foreign call and 2) the rep said he tried calling me the day before, claiming that our reserved car was not available, but there wasn’t a missed call or voicemail recorded on my phone. He also said that it was MY number that was shady, because I have an out-of-state area code, but this was weird to me. People usually get rental cars because they’re traveling…doesn’t it make sense that my area code would be from a different state?Anyway, since our reserved car wasn’t available, he wanted to charge us $8/day more to upgrade to a different car, which again, I thought was weird. If we booked a car that isn’t available, wouldn’t you let us rent a car for the same value? It wasn’t like we upgraded to a fancier model either. It was still a Sudan that was just “a little bigger” according to him.To make matters worse, the rep was very rude when we actually went into the store. For some reason he was in an agitated mood and belittled me on how I didn’t need to have a second driver assigned in our paperwork, but the website asked if I wanted to add one when I made the reservation, and I’ve also never been to a car rental place that didn’t ask that. I actually had to turn away from him and take a breath so I could keep calm and civil. Just because he was rude and angry, didn’t mean I had to be.It gets better, too. We booked the car for 4 days, and drove it across a few states. When we were about to drop it off, the check engine light came on. No idea why. It made me feel like we were driving an unsafe car. What would’ve happened if we had to drive for a few hour more?The final nail in the coffin was after we dropped the car off and got the bill. We didn’t pay $8 extra a day for our upgraded car, we paid an extra $10/day. The rep didn’t even have the decency to be honest.Never going back to this place, and I hope you’re never desperate enough to either.

I had early reservation at 8:00 am , the guy that worked at the counter told me that he does not have any car talking to me with nasty attitude so I asked him can you please give me any car because I see a lot of cars at the parking lot then he said I don't have anything for you so I asked him for his name so I can complain to his supervisor then he told me J but he refused to give me his full name , it's said to have some people like him working for Avis company because it will make them looks bad.

I always heard that the front desk rep is rude and nasty but despite everything i wanted to get my own experience. Let me just say this word of mouth did not lie. I didn’t even rent a car the front desk lady was RUDE & not helpful act as if i was ruining her day.

The rental place isn't bad to do business with. And up until my last encounter with this location my only complaint was the " cleanliness" or lack there of with the rental cars. In other words I don't believe they truly clean the cars inside before renting them out again.However my last encounter there I was lied to about the insurance "policy" and that's the only reason for the 3 stars. So either have your own insurance or you'll be told you have to purchase their insurance (which isn't true, but her business, her rules I guess.)

Great customer service. It was easy to pick and drop off car. The company was open all day the day after Christmas, other companies were not, therefore I could return car in the day I returned home.

Rep was friendly. Process was quick. Car was dirty. Windows were smeared so bad I had to go to car wash and use some elbow grease on those windows. There's no excuse for renting out dirty cars. Returned car in Fredericksburg and rep there went out of his way to help me, even though it was close to closing. He never rushed through the paperwork and answered my questions.

Customer service representative needs to be trained in customer service, not just renting cars. Car was dirty.

I’ve returned to this location twice, and will never do so again. During the first return, I did not receive a receipt or confirmation of return until 3 days after drop off. The second return, I asked for a receipt, and I was told I would get an email receipt. I only had the car for 24 hours, and when I finally got the receipt, I was charged $450 for a “cleaning fee.” I returned the car exactly how it was provided to me, and had to call Avis and wait on hold for 30 minutes to fight and get this removed. I will never visit this location again, and I recommend you do the same.

Best place to rent a car, super friendly and helpful staff! I rent about once a month for business travel and the service and vehicles are way better than the airport.
