“Small, independent pharmacies are very rare in today's corporate world. Bayview is like stepping back in time to a place where your pharmacist knows you on a first name basis, and genuinely cares about your health. The staff is very caring and very prompt with getting your scripts filled. Tired of waiting in lines at CVS or Walgreens? Go local, and go to Bayview.”

“Costco gas I always try to get when I go there usually save about a quarter a gallon my truck takes 20 gallons so if I’m filling up twice a week I’m saving almost 10 bucks little bit of a line now and then lotta people don’t realize that the hose will reach to the opposite side of the vehicle so a lot of lines get really long on some and short on others andthey should put a sign up that says that maybe or you know people would see it more and then they would know it’s always a good experience”

“Visiting from out of town and needed a prescription. It was easy peasy and the people were very friendly and helpful. When I called to tell them to expect it the woman said "thanks, I'll text you when it is ready". Loved that.”

“My first experience with Costco was back home in Canada in the food court. They used to sell poutines dirt cheap because (a) it was back in the day and (b) it was in Canadian dollars LOL. I didn't have a membership then because I didn't have a business and I was single. We finally got a Costco membership when we were stationed in Hawaii, at out necessity and ever since, this relationship is going strong. I'm sure you know most of the benefits, but these are things I love about Costco: Executive Membership - the fee is a steep $120, but you get 2% cash back and most years, I almost make it all back rewards. If you don't want to dish out the $120, start with the basic and if you want to upgrade later on, I believe they will prorate it. Gas - as a general rule of thumb, they are usually the cheapest. If you shop there often like I do, I usually fill up there once a week. Kirkland Brand - I love their house brand and you'll usually find things like their TP, paper towels, seaweed, their liquor, EVOO, nuts (to name a few) in our cart. The unofficial word on the street is that their suppliers are usually the same well known brands, like vodka and Grey Goose (the bottles resemble each other). They source the best Asian products - Costo buyers know what's up! They have a great selection of Asian products. One thing we buy in bulk is their seaweed, the Kirkland brand. The biggest container filled with lots of sheets and the cheapest you will find! I hate that they have been running out lately and replace it with another brand that isn't the same in value and quantity. I've seen things like citrone (yu-ja - Korean citrus fruit) jam for tea, pear juice, boba mochi, instant noodle bowls, Bachan sauce etc. So many great products, from produce to meat, ready made meals, drinks, frozen products, spices in bulk. The list goes on. Samples - you can practically have a small meal making your rounds on a weekend day. That's how they also get ya. I don't know how many times I have bought an item because I sampled it first. Online shopping - if you order items in the grocery category, with a minimum order of $75, you can have it shipped for free. Other items like clothes or products, are usually free shipping. But beware, most items online are marked up, hence the free shipping. Food court - solid items. Who can beat their decent pizza for that size and price? But Dear Costo, can ya bring back the Supreme?! And have you had their newest item, the chocolate chip cookie? It the size of my kids' face. Only con is, there are only two Costos in the entire area. The one here in Norfolk is BUSY. ALL. THE. TIME. Like from opening til close. You can find the best stuff during the holidays too. One of the things I regret not getting is the darn Hexclad set when it was on sale during the holidays. The lowest I've ever seen it. Maybe this year.... One thing I have yet to take advantage of is Costco Travel! Enjoy, Friends, and never stop exploring!”

“I love love love Costco! I have been a member here since forever. It is always so easy to down the Rabbit hole when here there is so much to discover. They just recently remodeled the layout and I love the new layout you can go in between the aisles in the middle now instead of going to the very end to get to the next aisle where there canned goods, spices, condiments, cleaning products, etc...Everyone is so nice. It's always so busy but that's always that and their gas prices are always on point! Currently today (11/27/2023) gas $2.85/gallon for regular.”

“Produce is nice and the selection is the same as the other one in Norfolk. The meat department is smaller here seafood the same. Only time I bought seafood the guy was super nice and accommodating when they ran out of something. The walk in beer cooler is nice, prices are normal. The store does need to fix it's vent system because it always smells like old fryalator always. The single cashier (most times they want you to do their job) is very nice always. It's our local store. There is an ABC next door with some drama in the parking lot at times.”

“Surprised how pleasant all the people who worked here are! Really friendly and helpful.Prices aren't great but on par with upscale groceries. Never seen a two story grocery either.”

“The staff at this CVS pharmacy in Target are the best. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The regular price of the medication was over $1,000, even with insurance it was $800+. The pharmacist found a discount program we could not, and brought it down to $0! We are so very grateful.”

“This CVS is clean and well organized. I walked into the store and was greeted by store associate Dee, who later helped answer my questions when I couldn't find a product at the store that was listed in-stock (it was at the other Little Creek CVS). Dee was very helpful and friendly. I recommend shopping at this CVS.”

“This is the best harris teeter in all of Virginia. My boyfriend is from italy and we are living off all the italian foods he finds. ?Pasta, meats, and so on. I would recommend this store because it has a greater international range. The food we are getting, he can find in Italy. The Harris teeter near my house doesn't have the variety. Shop here if you want a wider range. If you're looking for real italian brands, the ones I have posted are and can be found here!”

“We stopped by Costco this morning to get some gasoline. They have some of the best prices in the area. Right now, regular gasoline is $2.66 per gallon. While we were there, we went inside to pick up a few things for dinner tonight. We really enjoy the Chilean Sea Bass and we found a nice filet. Their fresh produce is value priced, fresh and delicious. They also offer competitive prices for meats like chicken, pork, steak and turkey during the holidays.”

“I came in for a dry socket and left with the tools I needed to combat it. The pharmacist who greated me, helped me and offered a comforting voice to my needs was incredible. She was such a pure soul. They will have my business!”

“Super helpful staff. Sometimes there’s a wait when you call for refill information, but that’s to be expected at most pharmacies since COVID-19. Overall super helpful and friendly staff.”

“Fast service. Staff was very knowledgeable. Go here if you are only looking for covid or flu shots. The other retail Walgreens may turn you away. No Appointments needed here. Walk-in time to finish including paper work was 15 mins.”

“Excellent pharmacy service. Never setting foot in the nearby CVS again. I was in and out here in less than 30 minutes after CVS had my refills promised 5 days earlier.”

“06/05/23Passport. Went to 2 other CVS locations that do not do passport photos because of issues they didn't seem to think we're going to get fixed. Mandy I believe was the worker who helped me get my photos done. She was just the best. So helpful and nice. She seems like a gem of a worker. Very helpful.”

“I go out of my way to get my yearly vaccinations at this location. The staff is super friendly, professional, quick, knowledgeable, and the young woman who administers the shots does it in a way that leaves me with minimal soreness.”

“This Rite-Aid accommodated me as a walk-in for multiple vaccines after Walgreens turned me away despite having an appointment. The pharmacist and techs are friendly and professional, and several other staff members here went out of their way to say hello and ensure checkout went smoothly. The store is clean and well-stocked. Best pharmacy in Ghent!”

“I had a wonderful experience today with the woman in the flower department. I was in tears breaking down on the phone with a friend of mine because I was there to pick out flowers for my sister’s headstone, today being the anniversary of her passing. The woman was so kind and considerate. Beautifully wrapped her Bouquet helped me pick out a card and was just extremely kind and thoughtful through the whole encounter. I really regret not getting her name, but she will always be in my prayers. I couldn’t have asked for better customer service at such a difficult time.”

“Very knowledgeable and professional staff. I'm a first time customer filling a Rx and they were very inviting and helpful. They also have a nicely clean and well kept establishment.”

“The Little Creek CVS is very quick if you go inside and get your prescriptions, they know how to keep it moving. The drive thru is always busy, so you don't know where you will get stuck in line, at least it's open. NOTE: Never use the Lafayette location again this is the worst Pharmacy in the area and should be closed.”

“I could run out of good things to say about them. Courteous and extremely professional staff. Very friendly and much sooner than expected delivery. I was bed ridden and the driver waited those few 5 minutes for my son to get in the house. I am so grateful for all the have done.”

“My brother had back surgery a few days ago. The staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. The surgery team was the best. Heidi the anesthesiologist explained the process from beginning to end - she is the best. Dr. Adkins and his P.A. Amber were awesome, their skill and bedside manner were second to none. The nurses in the River wing post op care were courteous and professional (with just a few exceptions). Emma, Dee, Trista, Althea, Azura, Peyton, Rebecca, Darius, and Kim were so caring and helpful throughout his stay. They took care of my brother J.J. so well - his recovery is going great. He keeps saying the staff still owes him money for his walk-abouts around the floor. Really we were treated well by all the staff from the time we checked in at the front desk, the SPAR registration desk, in the cafeteria, the coffee shop, even in the hallway when we would get lost- staff and/or doctors would ask - can I help you or do you need help? Our experience at Sentara was exceptional! However, the reviews have me worried about Wesley M's friend. I pray he is well, what is the update?”

“I enjoy coming to this Rite Aid. The pharmacists are actually friendly-- which I can't say about many pharmacies I've been to. In fact, the staff in general is friendly and they don't appear to hate their jobs. I'll be loyal to this one for a while! Thanks Rite Aid!”

“Dan, one of the pharmacist there, is always very helpful in resolving any issue I may have with my prescriptions. He knows how important it is to have them available quickly and on the correct date. He along with his staff are always knowledgeable and very pleasant. They take their time to listen to your issue and resolve the problem(s). I receive texts correctly and my meds are filled prior to the time indicated. If there is some mixup with our insurance, I get a call from CVS to discuss the options right away. I wouldn't choose any other pharmacy.”

“My visit to this Rite Aid was due to a pharmacy near my house cancelling my Covid Vaccine the day before my one day window between medical infusions. The search for an open appointment a reasonable distance from my house was tough. Saturday was completely booked at all the close locations of every pharmacy chain. Finally I chose this Rite Aid in a section of Norfolk that I wasn't familiar with. My friend who knew the area went with me. My experience couldn't have been better. The building was a new store at the corner of Little Creek Road & Chesapeake Boulevard. The store was clean & well kept. The employees, including the pharmacist who administered the vaccine, were friendly and polite. They even agreed to give my friend her vaccine without an appointment. I would have no problem with returning for another vaccination. It turns out that the route we took wasn't the easiest way. We returned via the Little Creek entrance to the store and then home on Shore Drive. It was an easy drive & find. Thank you Rite Aid for being there when I needed you.”
