Excellent customer service! Michael was very professional and did a fantastic job setting up my daughter’s car for a tire replacement. The technician was very knowledgeable and replaced the tire on her car accordingly. Everything was done in a timely manner. Extremely pleased with this Pep Boys and the wonderful service they provided us!

I'm not sure how to rate this, my car was there for 2 nights, once I had called to check on the status because I never received a quote, Turned out they called a number I did not give them to contact me....the job was done in less than an hour after I said yes to do the work (still charged for 3 hours labor, which I understand) My question is, was my vehicle locked when it was outside? Why does it smell like stale beer and stink? Oh I can tell you why, these two disgusting cups that weren't mine were spilling stale beer and cigarette butts all over the back of my van. Attached are two pictures, I'm pretty sure they didn't "sanitize" my vehicles inside before returning this to me, this is disgusting I do not smoke or drink, this is disturbing and disgusting

Went to get a tire patched. Took well over an hour, never showed me why the tire couldn't get patched. Was sarcastic when speaking to me. The service was ok but took forever and the customer service was subpar

Allen was awesome! Everyone there was tume efficant and hard working. I went in to get my brakes changed and it took around 3 hours on a Sunday! Paid 555. Thank you pepboys!

I stop by Pep Boys-Norfolk on Military Highway because my 2016 Tahoe LT fan would not shut off and temp gauge read zero. Well this is a common problem for Chevys and normally you would just need to replace the coolant temp sensor.The service was great and the salesman Michael, retired Vet was a good help. He asked me why I bought my part and I should check my system works to make sure nothing else is wrong. I declined and just wanted the sensor replaced.They replaced the sensor but the problem still existed. The next salesman said you want to do the electrical check for an extra 140. I said go ahead to find the problem. While waiting I start checking forums and all said the same, the problem is the temp sensor.Then a forum said if the problem still exists ensure you rest your computer to respond to the new part before and check wires. I said" I know it not the computer reset because sure Pep Boys mechanics know reset the computer since they are ASE Certified.Tahoe came out and was working and I asked the salesman the problem. He said " you know GM funny with their cars and the guys could not figure it out but it turns out they had to just rest the computer".I said, yeah I figured that out 30 minutes ago and you just have to disconnect the battery. He said no we just use our device.My question for Pep Boys? How do certified mechanics not know that they must reset the computer when replacing parts on certain model cars? Or is that they intentionally did not reset the computer to get that upsale of $140.00 XD

I was 3rd in line in the morning trying to get my state inspection and was told that I would have to leave it over night. To clarify, I would be leaving it over night so they can Do my inspection tomorrow because they were still backed up from yesterday. I had to ask so many follow up questions to help me understand and the entire time the guy was sarcastic and rude like I should have know all this? I don't know about the services they have but this guy was not very nice and I was only the 3rd customer. 1 star, well deserved.

Staff took walk-ins as a priority over appointments, took 2 1/2 hours past my appointment time to complete a simple oil change. Staff was rude and mocked me when I said some thing about how long it was taking when I was told that a walk in was taken before my appointment. I asked why they would do that when I got there 45 minutes before my appointment, they couldn’t give a valid explanation and then tried to tell me that my coupon wasn’t valid when it was for two more weeks. When I informed them, I would call corporate, the manager told me and I quote “corporate won’t even talk to you. If you call them you’re gonna end up having to talk to me again. “ reported to the Better Business Bureau, save yourself a headache and go somewhere else unless you like being mocked by a seriously rude woman who happened to be the one who suggested you drop it off early when you made the appointment. Highly don’t recommend unless you want to waste half your day for an oil change that you made an appointment for.

Pep Boys at Military Highway in Norfolk Virginia came through for me in a BIG way on September 5th. I was out of town, and my wife's 2021 GMS Acadia Denali developed a Tire with low air pressure... I called my local Pep Boys and Richard on of their Sr. Technicians happened to take the call, telling me that at that moment... they were not extremely busy and my wife could bring the vehicle in to get the tire repaired. Once she got there, the manager, Michael, took charge and got her vehicle right in and within 45 minute or so... her tire was repaired while she waited. The customer service she was offered... was off the charts... and much appreciated, especially since I was not in town to take care of this! Big Time Thanks to the my friends at Pep Boys!!!

Id lime to start off with I NEVER nornally leave reviews however i had to share my expirence. I walked in thinking I could purchase only 1 tire of a different brand on an all wheel drive vehicle (my mistake) ended up having to buy an entire set of tires although that wasn't what I'd planned it's what had to happen. Tamika helped me find the best tires for my car and Theresa installed then beautifully. Both women were patient with my many questions and provided understandable answers which ultimately made me feel secure and confident with my purchase. Pep Boys has gained a customer for life!!!!!! Thanks Ladies yall deserve a raise!

Every time I come here , it's a hour and a half to two hours for an OIL CHANGE. Even with an APPOINTMENT, make sure you have nothing else to do if you come here because you WILL BE sitting be there for a minimum of an hour for something simple . And then when you ask how much longer they give an attitude . no point of an appointment if they don't start at the appointment time they give you .

Allen was great. Got us the right battery for our Explorer Sport and made sure it was installed right and on time. The tech did a great job and the price was great. They were super busy and still got us in and quickly. If you need anything for your car, give them a call. Ask for Alien ?

Just curious to know why when I came in for an Alignment and Tire Rotation, my tires were not rotated? I expained my front tires were wearing and needed to be rotated. How do I know this to be true? I have one tire different from the rest. That is still on right rear, same place it has been since being replaced.
