“Costco gas I always try to get when I go there usually save about a quarter a gallon my truck takes 20 gallons so if I’m filling up twice a week I’m saving almost 10 bucks little bit of a line now and then lotta people don’t realize that the hose will reach to the opposite side of the vehicle so a lot of lines get really long on some and short on others andthey should put a sign up that says that maybe or you know people would see it more and then they would know it’s always a good experience”

“After checking out Naval Station Norfolk, my boyfriend and I checked out the Norfolk Main Navy Exchange (NEX). If you've never been, it's like a department store! They sell everything from clothing and accessories (including hats, scarves, jewelry, handbags), electronics, cookware, seasonal decorations (including christmas trees and nutcrackers), and more. My boyfriend was in search of a beanie while I was in search of a cool-looking Navy shirt. We found a nice beanie but not a cool-looking Navy shirt. However, I'll admit that the Hard Rock Cafe Navy hat was kind of cool!”

“My first experience with Costco was back home in Canada in the food court. They used to sell poutines dirt cheap because (a) it was back in the day and (b) it was in Canadian dollars LOL. I didn't have a membership then because I didn't have a business and I was single. We finally got a Costco membership when we were stationed in Hawaii, at out necessity and ever since, this relationship is going strong. I'm sure you know most of the benefits, but these are things I love about Costco: Executive Membership - the fee is a steep $120, but you get 2% cash back and most years, I almost make it all back rewards. If you don't want to dish out the $120, start with the basic and if you want to upgrade later on, I believe they will prorate it. Gas - as a general rule of thumb, they are usually the cheapest. If you shop there often like I do, I usually fill up there once a week. Kirkland Brand - I love their house brand and you'll usually find things like their TP, paper towels, seaweed, their liquor, EVOO, nuts (to name a few) in our cart. The unofficial word on the street is that their suppliers are usually the same well known brands, like vodka and Grey Goose (the bottles resemble each other). They source the best Asian products - Costo buyers know what's up! They have a great selection of Asian products. One thing we buy in bulk is their seaweed, the Kirkland brand. The biggest container filled with lots of sheets and the cheapest you will find! I hate that they have been running out lately and replace it with another brand that isn't the same in value and quantity. I've seen things like citrone (yu-ja - Korean citrus fruit) jam for tea, pear juice, boba mochi, instant noodle bowls, Bachan sauce etc. So many great products, from produce to meat, ready made meals, drinks, frozen products, spices in bulk. The list goes on. Samples - you can practically have a small meal making your rounds on a weekend day. That's how they also get ya. I don't know how many times I have bought an item because I sampled it first. Online shopping - if you order items in the grocery category, with a minimum order of $75, you can have it shipped for free. Other items like clothes or products, are usually free shipping. But beware, most items online are marked up, hence the free shipping. Food court - solid items. Who can beat their decent pizza for that size and price? But Dear Costo, can ya bring back the Supreme?! And have you had their newest item, the chocolate chip cookie? It the size of my kids' face. Only con is, there are only two Costos in the entire area. The one here in Norfolk is BUSY. ALL. THE. TIME. Like from opening til close. You can find the best stuff during the holidays too. One of the things I regret not getting is the darn Hexclad set when it was on sale during the holidays. The lowest I've ever seen it. Maybe this year.... One thing I have yet to take advantage of is Costco Travel! Enjoy, Friends, and never stop exploring!”

“Millers’Energy Company: Mr. Michael performed a great job completing the yearly maintenance on my unit. Also, Mr. Gavin had to come out to my home to troubleshoot and fix an issue that occurred a few days later.Nevertheless, these two technicians were very respectful and pleasant to me and very knowledgeable about their work. I would like to acknowledge the wonderful ladies on the phone for scheduling appointments and making sure that I was a priority.”

“Solid gas station experience. The people that work the registers are talented and friendly. They are usually short staffed but they’ve made every effort to not let that affect them. Gas prices tend to be on par with out in town or a couple cents cheaper. Liquor is provided at the package store so there should be no negatives put on them since that’s a Virginia/the south thing.”

“I love love love Costco! I have been a member here since forever. It is always so easy to down the Rabbit hole when here there is so much to discover. They just recently remodeled the layout and I love the new layout you can go in between the aisles in the middle now instead of going to the very end to get to the next aisle where there canned goods, spices, condiments, cleaning products, etc...Everyone is so nice. It's always so busy but that's always that and their gas prices are always on point! Currently today (11/27/2023) gas $2.85/gallon for regular.”

“Good gas, average pricing, but the service is kinda iffy sometimes. I really like the employees (because I have been coming to this location for over a decade), but they can be rude at time if you catch them on a bad day. Still, I love my local BP gas station and its employees.”

“Take a trip down memory lane. The candy, the clothes, the nick-nacks and the GOOD food. As Stuckey's says, "Stop in and have some food and gas!" Heavy on the pun.”

“I don't know what they put in the food, but a grown man should not crave their chicken teriyaki the way I do. It's always amazing. The lumpia is great, too.”

“Consistently the lowest priced gas in Norfolk, which can be an additional 10 cents less expensive per gallon when paying with WalMart Pay if you have WalMart +. Beware - the parking lot is a madhouse as this is typically the busiest gas station around. It's dirty, grungy, and poorly staffed, but the gas is cheaper than anywhere else and it's located in an area that a lot of people traffic. It is well lit at night. Be careful and enjoy the cheap gas.”

“This is my usual neighborhood has station. I go here at least every other day and the cashiers are always nice to me. Sometimes there may be some homeless people around but they don't really bother anyone. If I do see them, the same ones and they are very polite and don't beg. They are very willing to work for whatever they ask for. Don't let this stop you from stopping here because it is very seldom that I have a problem at this location.”

“We stopped by Costco this morning to get some gasoline. They have some of the best prices in the area. Right now, regular gasoline is $2.66 per gallon. While we were there, we went inside to pick up a few things for dinner tonight. We really enjoy the Chilean Sea Bass and we found a nice filet. Their fresh produce is value priced, fresh and delicious. They also offer competitive prices for meats like chicken, pork, steak and turkey during the holidays.”

“Google says they sell K-1 kerosene but they don't even have a pump for it. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful and gave me a phone # and address to go to for kerosene. Thank You Sir.”

“Cheap gas and a good car wash. Plus you get $.10 off per gallon with a car wash. Items inside can be a little bit more pricey than usual but that's normal for gas stations.”

“Don't lose your car. If you lose your car you'll have a hard time getting another one and you may have to pay double I found this out the hard way I rented a car and I left it in a parking garage I forgot about two days later I called them and made them aware of the situation they told me I would have to rent another car and pay for the other one I still yet to figure this out”

“I can't emphasis enough how great not only the ATMs are (awesome) but also how great the customer service is. As an Aussie stranded without any cash in DC, Black Frog allowed me to sell bitcoin for instant cash. Customer service answered my call at 11pm and explained the process, then followed up with me the next morning, and stayed on the phone all the way through the process because verifications weren't coming to my non US phone. Thanks so much guys! You saved us a very embarrassing checkout.”

“We stopped at this 7-11 because I was having a bathroom emergency. Although this 7-11 didn't appear to have a public restroom, a very sweet employee took pity on me. She even moved crates out of the way and checked on me! Her name is Freedom. Bless her for being so caring. I don't know what would have happened if she hadn't allowed me to use the restroom. Every location should be so lucky to have such a lovely employee.”

“Anywhere you can get gas when the tank is low is always a plus. Could never fail with gas. Also you can purchase beer, wine, and other needy things to help you on your journey.”
