The customer service was poor. There practically is no need for them as they don’t resolve any issue regarding overdue rentals. I offered to bring it in and ship in the book but neither of those options would have resulted in me not paying. It seems like a money grab and they value the amount of money they can get from you rather than helping out a student with their education. In the future I would recommend not getting the book from the captains locker and look for it elsewhere to begin with as their rental agreement is a scam. I thought I was able to trust my university’s bookstore but unfortunately that is not the case.

My daughter’s books were supposed to arrive at our house by the 14th but have not arrived. The best we can do is hope we receive them soon and reship them to her at school. So frustrating! I certainly hope the professors are understanding. We won’t be ordering from here again.

Incredible friendly & helpful! I called them expecting the worst in regards to a concern over a purchase. I first spoke with Tanti (sorry if I spelled her name wrong) and she had her manager, Cheryl Lynn call me. Again, apologies if misspelling the names. Cheryl Lynn went above and beyond in my opinion to assist me and I am very appreciative as this is a gift for our daughter. THANK YOU CNU store ladies! You were great help and so kind.

My son is a freshman. We ordered his online books before classes started. Now after 2 weeks he still hasn't received the codes to access the books, or the codes they sent don't work. He says his friends are experiencing the same problem. We ended up going directly to Sapling to buy another online copy of a book he needed immediately, and he received the code right away, and it worked. Then we called the bookstore to request a refund and they told us the deadline to get a refund passed last week. Really? Don't bother buying books thru the bookstore. Go straight to Sapling.

11 days after offering a Christmas gift through their website, I received a notice cancelling the order due to lack of supply. A week before Christmas. The manager informs me she is unable to do anything about it. I wouldn't recommend ordering from this place, as they are unable to stand by their promise. Completely unprofessional. If they can't fill supply, they should take down their website. Clearly they are not ready for the online ordering business.

This place sends the books to you at the slowest pace possible, some books say "paperback" but are just loose leaf paper that does not come with anything to hold it, and the actual in store service is mediocre at best.

Ordered books two weeks before class started and the bookstore had them "in stock". Today is the third day of class and books are still not here. Apparently "in stock" means something totally different at this place. This has to be the worst bookstore ever.
