We had a great first experience here. We absolutely lucked out with being able to get a walk in appointment. Had bad luck with other salons so this made my daughters day. Everyone was very professional and my daughters cut and color turned out perfect. The stylist was great with listening to what she wanted and my daughters hair turned out exactly like she wanted. Salon was very clean and staff were very professional.

Salon del Sol is amazing. My son has been going to Sarah for 3 years now for increasingly complex hair services as he develops his own style. She’s professional, skilled, supportive, and has helped my son pull off a variety of hairstyles. I hadn’t been to this particular location since they moved from their original Hull street location. The new location is definitely not as nice and quiet as the old one. This time I was just getting my eyebrows waxed, but instead of being taken into a private room I was sandwiched between two people getting their hair washed in the bowls beside me. Not a huge deal, but it was really loud and felt rushed. Definitely not the high class experience SDS boasts. Honestly, you can get a better experience at any local nail shop for half the price. I’m not sure I will be returning.

I buy products. My daughter is a hairdresser and she does my hair but does not sell aveda products. The people that wait on me are great. Very personable and helpful!❤️

Went for a consultation and was professional and honest about the products used. Even though I may not go for this particular service (balayage) as their product may or may not work, I have gone for a wash a blowout and was happy with the service!

I love this Salon del Sol on Hull Street. I’ve been going here for a couple of years now. My hairstylist, Shawna, is the best! She does exactly what you ask, but somehow makes your hair look better than you could ever imagine. I’ve never had to wait for my appointment and I’ve never been disappointed with my cut or style. That’s saying a lot because I have super thick, coarse hair and she works miracles with it!
