I would give this place a zero if I could. A check was deposited without my permission and I was unable to receive any funds. The representative who helped me was rude and showed no compassion. I will not be returning.

Teller was unfriendly. Do not use if you are handicap or mobility challenged. While it has a ramp and handicap parking, the door is not automatic to go in and out and would be difficult had I been using my electric chair. There is no drive thru option anymore. There is a drive up ATM but the withdrawal amount is limited so if you need more cash than what can be taken from the ATM, you are forced to go inside.

Definitely the worst branch they have, but they are very good at just shuffling you out the door instead of helping you.

I wanted to counter the review a month ago of Ashanti Jones. I have been using this bank location for years, and their treatment of all customers is amazing. Please stop whining without a good side of cheese.

Please do not come here if you are black & trying to take some money out of your account!!! I went into the bank today to withdrawal money out of my account. I had some issues with my account & was told I had to be verified in order to get my money (which was understandable) I was waiting on my bank card to come in the mail which happened to come a little after I went into the bank. I went home to get my card out of the mail & went back to the bank. I gave a black lady that I was working with my card & ID, she went inside the back & the manager ANDREW DIACONT came out & informed me that Its weird that Im saying Im just getting the card when it was activated, money was withdrawn, & it was a balance inquiry on 12/11. I informed him thats impossible if I literally just took it out of my mailbox, I didn’t even activate it yet. He walked me to the atm & asked me to put the card inside of it. The ATM was asking me for my language preference (Hinting that the card was never activated!!) The man told me I can take up to 1K out of my account with the atm & said I could go to the teller if i needed more & walked away from me. I told him i wanted my account investigated if someone was using a card I just received, He said my account would be locked & I would not be able to take any money out. At that point i wanted ALL of my money out & the account closed. The CSR rep informed me that the manager LIED & the card did not get activated till today, there was no usage in the account. I HATE BOFA because of my experience, I will NEVER bank with them again. PLEASE DO NOT GO IF YOU ARE BLACK. Andrew WILL racially profile you if you want to take money out of your account.

Only open 10-4, when most people are at work. No drive through. Refused ti deposit cash into my account with my deposit slip I made out when my mom did it for me because I work for a living & can't go during 10-4 because it was cash & she's not on the account. You don't need to be on the account to put money into it. Makes no sense but looks like I'll be forced to change banks.

The only decent employee here is April, she’s the only one that cares about the customers and people that come into the branch. Plus the only one that makes it a pleasant experience to come here.The manager here is absolute piece of work and he’s rude, nasty and wastes people’s time. He has absolutely no regard for the people coming into the branch. I had to bring in savings bonds and was told “I have to be respectful of everyone else in the bank and if they start the process that I have to step aside every time someone comes in because it takes too long to cash bonds” and then we try to have something notarized and they told us they can’t notarize any documents with handwriting. Meanwhile this is a work application and it is required that it be filled in handwriting due to it being a civil service job. And when questioned and pointed out that it is not against the Virginia notary commission to notarize a document with handwriting and shown the website that it doesn’t say anything about it being against policy, the manager stated that it’s a Bank of America policy and that they weren’t going to notarize it. Then when asked for it in writing the manager refused to provide information to back up his statements. Then told us to we had to go elsewhere and pay out of pocket for a notary service. HE ALSO CHECKED THE DOCUMENT BEFORE HAVING US SIT DOWN AND WAIT FOR 30 MINUTES. He sits and avoids helping customers and drops all work on the tellers even when he’s not doing anything. He’d rather waste everyone’s time and then be rude and condescending to people when they complain. This bank does nothing but make it a nightmare for their customers.April deserves 1,000 stars for service. Everyone else needs to find a new job far away from customer service.

Tried to work with John Gregory back in 2021 regarding a home loan, I was trying to buy a family member's house. Since I lived out of state, and it was right after COVID I was told that I was approved for 102K but they weren't going to work with me due to the unstable economy. That year I made almost 90k and he tried nothing to work with me. Everything done through Bank of America is always a hassle, save your time and work with a bank that values their customer base.

My experience was subpar at best. My significant other and I went to open a joint account as she already has a relationship with BofA and I do a majority of my banking with another major bank. Neither the greeter nor the Banking agent acknowledged us when we arrived. Admittedly, they were both on the phone but when the Banker finished, still nothing said. When I leaned over and asked if she can assist us with opening an account, she said with an attitude that we needed to wait.We then asked the lone teller if someone could help us as we were the only ones in the Bank (it was 4:30pm on Friday), she walked over to the same lady and we could hear the Banker say no. The teller came back to us and asked if we have an existing banking relationship an after hearing that we did she told the Banker and she agreed to help us.When we sat down, we received no welcome greeting, just what are we looking to do. She made it clear after sighing noticeably that she was ready to leave for the day. She asked for two forms of ID, and at that point we left saying we'll open an account elsewhere. We felt that we shouldn't have to beg anyone to take our money. Just a very bad over all customer service experience!
