Rude staff. I bought a piece of furniture and after i paid they tell me they can only hold it for 5 days to find a way to take the item home otherwise they keep it and my money. They did not inform me this prior to paying nor that they do not help move the item to your vehicle even though there were plently of people working and i was willing to help. Thankfully kind strangers in the store witnessed the interaction and helped me move items around in the store to get the item to my car!

They have an entire floor downstairs dedicated to upscale furniture and housewares. Designer clothing upstairs and reasonable price. Just don't expect thrift store prices.

Message to the board send in secret shoppers so you can see how the “volunteers” treat the people supporting this non profit. I drive almost an hour away not to be degraded. I hope this comment touches home.

Prices are really, really high. No bargains here. Some nice things but at the same prices that you would pay at an antique store or for-profit shop. Pay attention to the tags b/c certain tag colors denote a percentage off the ticketed price.

This was my first visit, though my family are frequent patrons. I was impressed with the well-curated collections of jewelry in particular. I bought quite a few things that were really lovely, gift-quality items, but I spent less than $100 overall. I'm definitely coming back in 2023 to have a good long browse.

Very high priced. Make you wear a mask, and not very nice. Kicked me out of the store 5 minutes before closing. Left willingly since priced as a Treasure as stated in the name.

Love the idea and purpose behind this shop but the staff/volunteers (pricing person specially) is snooty. They ruined a good trip there to thrift for a good cause. I would rather go to Goodwill or Unique. At least I would get a smile and hello from someone there.

Adding to my previous review. Yes Gabrielle (mgr) in a professionally run shop people working or representing the shop should be looking out for the best interest of the shop and the customer. That is fundamental good customer service that insures you customers feel welcome enough to come back. When looking at jewelry the employee should be on task listening and helping. Volunteer of not - its just good business practice - Yes, the fella helping me does have a responsibility to be listening and aware - he is taking money and handling jewelry (fine jewelry) here to help customers - Thank you

I have to say this was my least favorite of all the thrift stores I visited during my thrifting marathon from Thurmont Md to Springfield, VA, even though it was the one with the most amount of promise. Driving through this area I was in awe of the stately homes and luxury cars lining the streets. Even the strip mall that this store is located in felt higher end, and indeed it was. The "thrift" store itself - and I say that with air quotes as I got the feeling this was not a thrift store at all, was very boushie. The inside is cramped with people and inventory and I did see piles along the wall. I got the feeling from overhearing some of the conversations happening around the register that this is high end consignment. It is NOT the place to go for a bargain. Even the "clearance" section on the lower level was above my pay grade. While everything was displayed nicely, it was way over the top and had an old money feel. I didn't see anything I would want to display in my home even if the prices were reasonable. I felt they cater to an older, country club type of shopper with bad taste. The clothing was matronly as well, so even though the brands were desirable, the styles were completely outdated. I also felt very out of place in my flannel short and jeans and could feel them watching me throughout the store like I would want to steal that gawdy stuff! The staff was made up of overly dressed older women probably with pedigrees, who didn't make you feel warm and welcome. In all I did a quick walk thru and couldn't find my way to the door fast enough. A thrift store they are not, but then again I don't think this clientele would know real thrift if it smacked them in the face. I can guarantee with the upmost certainty that I won't ever return.

I signed up as a consigner with the Inova Treasure Trove in Springfield, Virginia. I have never dealt with more unfriendly and more unprofessional folks at a non-profit organization. It is really a shame. They are unhelpful and rude. They are also not clear about their contract and don't make everything clear. I have now lost money instead of making any. I normally donate my stuff to Veterans of America. I decided to sell a few my items since the proceeds will help the hospital as well. I am trying to sell enough items to be even. After I showed up there with my items, I was told I had to pay 25.00 to even consign which they did not tell me on the phone. Today, I was informed on the phone, I will not get my 13.00 ( it items sold) unless it is 20.00. So, if my other items don't sell, I am out of 38.00. What a rip off for a non-profit!!!

Lots of quality items at near-retail prices.
