For all things birds - we are lucky to have this fantastic local establishment to supply us with bird feed and related items. The people here are just the nicest and knowledgeable. Please support this outstanding local business and skip the overpriced/low quality stuff at the big box stores.

A McLean gem, right up there with The Organic Butcher of McLean, Kazan Restaurant, Child's Play Toys & Books and StarNut Gourmet (to name a few). Privately owned, PERSONALITY GALORE and expert bird (and bat!) advice. Great products. Friendly service. Easy parking. I shop here because I want McLean to BE like this. Unique. Cool. A locally owned small business. And for those of you wondering (like the finance guy I married), buying weight means the food prices pretty much hold their own with Amazon. Which is awesome, because I don't want to live in a town that's a scattered clusterbeep of major franchises that add to the mall-ification of America, and make me drive through town thinking: "Gosh, if we get a Panda Express, I'll never miss that food court in Anaheim ever, ever again!"

5/26/20 I feel like I have been to this store when my wife and I wanted bird food for our family member Chocobo. Looking around we did see plenty of items in the store, but nothing we wanted to buy. This store was nicely stocked and the staff seemed friendly, but I really can't remember much about this store.

Doug the owner is a wealth of information! Sure, I could have gone to the mega-home supply store, but I had lots of questions. Questions about feeding birds in winter. Questions about bird houses when sting comes. I had no idea that there are suet feeders with pepper to deter squirrels, nor did I know that there are bird houses specifically designed for different birds. Plus, there is a sign on the front door ""dogs Welcome." I will be back!
