Now I'm engaged, and the ring and, more importantly, the diamond was perfect. He's transparent, straightforward, and will not rush you into a decision. His prices are better than anything you'll find in a store, on par with online wholesalers, but his service and quality are 1000 times better. “I had a great experience with Rosalin's Bridal Boutique! I was looking for a particular dress that I saw online, which they did not have, but they carried the designer, so they ordered one for me to try on. I liked it, but they showed a different dress by the same designer that I liked even better. I am a plus size, and it was in stock, so they worked with me even late at night to get the dress ordered before the price changed. The only problem I had was that there was a mixup with the shipping of the dress, but that was the designer's fault, not Rosalin's. There was still plenty of time for the alterations. The alterations person was very nice and did exactly what I wanted with the dress. Would highly recommend.”

“I had a great experience with this bridal shop! It was my 3rd store and I knew I was going to be a tough client, I had a low budget and my wedding was only 3 months out. My stylists was amazing! She pulled everything she possibly could and even let us look through the racks ourselves (I went with my mom and sister). She was extremely patient with me and my indecisiveness and offered her opinion when I looked to her for additional advice. She also made sure it would be possible to have alterations done in time for my wedding before I even made a purchase. Thanks to iCON Bridal, I not only found my dress but also received outstanding service. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in search of their perfect gown!”

“An exceptional experience at a fine institution. The proprietor Ed took care of us in a timely manner without lacking even the smallest attention to detail. We are visiting for the DC Mardi Gras and needed tuxedos last minute. Ed was very accommodating and his prices were so reasonable! We are leaving tomorrow and he even offered to pickup our clothes from the hotel for us. Wow! Great service, and will definitely be back next time in DC. Oh and he recommended Martin's Tavern for lunch, a local establishment, calling the manager to ensure we got in!”
“I booked an appt to shop the sample sale and I am so glad I did! First off, great atmosphere and set-up for displaying and trying on the dresses. There were also snacks and beverages available (didn't get that at the other 2 places I went). Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff - but not pushy. The booking fee was much less than the other places I went. I found my dress here during the sample sale and got it more than 60% off (other places were offering 20ish% off for samples). I am so thrilled with my dress, and the whole experience was great. There were a lot of little cute touches that Ellie's provided too - like the signs and a backdrop for photos, gifts after purchase. Loved it!”

This was my first appointment ever and I came in with a few nerves and Sydney quickly helped me feel so comfortable. She listened to my likes and dislikes and brought out some really beautiful dresses.

“I am quite late in writing a review, but was reminded yesterday just how wonderful the Befitted team is. Not only were they incredibly kind in the entire tailoring process, they also helped make a last minute adjustment literally days before I had to leave for my wedding week out of state. They helped me figure out what undergarments best suited my dress and offered a wealth of knowledge for proper dress care. I felt well cared for and I am so grateful for their support!”
“Jeanhee altered my wedding dress and added bustles to it. She was very professional and knowledgeable, and was able to make last minute changes. I wore a strapless dress and was worried it would not stay up, but it fit perfectly and I was able to dance all night. Highly recommend!”
“Mina is great! It is very hard to find ao dai on the East Coast and thankfully Em Elite is able to provide services to the area. Not only are the ao dai affordable (dresses in Cali were double, if not triple the price!), but Mina is very easy to work with. We had some back and forth with the design and the quality, but it was easy to talk through everything and she addressed all of my concerns, leaving me with a great final product.
She also offers other services for tea ceremonies (hair/makeup, catering, etc.). I didn't use any of these but I do regret it. I wish I would have left it in her hands, but in the end, I can say the one thing I was not stressed out about on the day of the tea ceremony was my ao dai. I will say the hat was poorly fit and it was constantly falling off my head. I don't think my measurements were taken for that, so I would advise future brides to watch out for the hat but with regards to the ao dai, again, it was overall a good experience. Thanks, Mina! I'm excited to come back one day to get an ao dai for tet.”
“I followed my sister to insadong hanbok to find a hanbok for her daughter’s wedding. I was amazed by how beautiful the hanbok was and there were many different types of hanbok. The owner, Kyung is so creative, detailed and talented and so accommodating. She is truly a great artist who cares about her customers and what is best for them. My sister looked so beautiful and simply stunning. She selected two - one for the wedding ceremony and a bolero for the evening event. The bolero was a combination of prettiness and charming. “The name for this place is dead-on. I was running errands and looking for a place to get a button sewed onto a beloved coat. I pulled in and saw fancy wedding gown in the window and the sign on the door that said, "By appointment only" with a phone number. So I called. The woman who runs the place picked up immediately and came to the door. She was clearly busy but let me in and immediately. She is a woman of few words. All action, though. She tended to me and sewed the button on by hand, just standing there and refused to take any money from me. This is the kind of business any town should be proud to have and support.”
