I’ve been bringing items in for alterations and tailoring since 2017 when I lived in McLean. I’ve lived in Maryland since then, and I will continue coming out of my way for Monica’s expertise in altering and tailoring clothes. Monica is an artist and expert in her craft. Her standards are high, she has great taste, and she doesn’t sell herself or her customers short. I’ve relied on her help with my favorite pieces, and I’m grateful that I don’t have to panic when something unfortunate happens to garments I love, or when they don’t fit as I’d hoped. 5 stars, without question.

I have some WWII SQUADRON PATCHES & needed them to be sewn on my Jackets. No one would do it, because the leather patches where to supple. It took me Two years to find someone & the person was Ms. Monica. She is a Master seamstress & trains other Tailors on what she does. The patch she sewed on my jacket, was so perfect, that people thought that is how I purchased the my jacket. Ms. Monica was so perfect in her sewing technique, that my next order I had to ask her not to make it too perfect so people will know that the patches where added on the Jacket. If you want a perfect job on any of your clothing, you are going to have to pay for it. Yes it was a little steep on the price. But this is why you pay a master seamstress, not your mom to do this type of work. She really, really knows her stuff & is a very sweet lady.

I just picked up my two suits, two sport coats, and a suede shirt jacket . All of them were refit and look extraordinary, remarkable really. These were in my closet for years without being worn even though they were Dolce or Purple label. Thank you again Monica for the phenomenal job, I have some more items...see you soon!

The lady ask you to pay too much for anything. Please save yourself time and choose a better alteration place!
